Chapter 1

{chapter 1 in Grace's point of view}

*ominous key board clicks*

My name is Grace Peters, my parents left me and my older brother when I was 13. My brother Eric is 5 years older than me so at 18 he had to get a job and take care of me.

He has a YouTube channel called GhettoGaming. He works at a gas station part time and since I just turned 19 I can also get a job.

I've had odd jobs here and there since I was 17 but working as a waitress or washing cars really isn't my thing. I love gaming but I don't have the confidence to start my own YouTube channel even though I would probably do well considering Eric has 5 million subs.

Eric is currently 24 years old, last night he got an email from UberHaxorNova or James from TheCreatureHub, asking him if he would like to be apart of the creatures because sly had just left and they are looking for another member.

He hasn't responded yet. It is 11pm and I have never heard of the creatures so I decided to roam around on the internet when I came to their website. I scrolled around on the page until I saw a message that caught my attention. They were looking for an intern to stay at the creature house with them full time and they were paying good money.

I logged into my brothers email (I know all of his passwords for everything hehe) and got James' cell number. we lived around the same area so I guessed he would still be awake.

*dialled number, and it is ringing*

"Helloooooooo?" someone (who I assumed was james) answered in a funny voice.

"Uhm.. uh hello this is Eric or GhettoGaming's sister and I saw that you needed a full time intern?"

"Ah yeah, why don't you come down to the house tomorrow for an interveiw?" * he gave me the address *

"Okay that would be great, what time?"

"If you could come here around 1 that would be a good time."

"Okay 1 works, thank you so much james."

"I look forward to meeting you..?"

"Oh uh yeah my name is Grace."

"I look forward to meeting you Grace."

*Beep noise signaling he hung up*

I feel like tomorrow is going to be a long day, I hope this interveiw works out well. if my brother accepts their offer also we could both live under the same roof still.

I didn't mention where me and Eric live and though he has gaming software and I have a laptop and a cell phone does not mean we are living in great conditions.

We live in a small, rundown apartment in Colorado. It consists of one living room with enough space to fit a two cushion couch (basically a closet/cramped hallway), One bedroom, One tiny ass kitchen, One bathroom (toilet, shower, sink). Eric always sleeps on the couch in the living room and I feel terrible about it. he has his recording stuff in my bedroom because it is the biggest room in the house.

I don't think I wilk be able to live anymore if I don't get this job. I can't have Eric looking after me forever. I need to grow up and get this job. My thoughts were surrounding me so I burrowed as deep as I could into my blankets and fell into a deep slumber almost immediately.
