The giant manor that rested in the middle of an apple orchard was calm and peaceful. Three rustic tall towers loomed over the valley, staring down at the trees below. Everything was at ease. However, inside the giant mansion everything was quiet and still. No one was walking or chattering about and all that could be heard were quiet sobs. In one of the three towers were three people, a brother and a sister seated near a woman who was already long gone. The two had sat next to corpse, their minds flooding with grief and the wicked thoughts of vengeance. The man had stood up and wiped his last tears. He was tall with black raven hair and mismatched cerulean and emerald eyes, along with black cascading feathered wings. He wore a black leather jacket with a grey undershirt and jeans that were way past it’s time. The woman looked up at her brother, her piercing orange eyes full of an equal amount of grief. Her long purple hair was cascading down over a university uniform that suited the sad girl well. She had slick red and purple leather wings that faded into darkness at the bottom.

“Well…” said the young man, his voice trembling with anger.

“I say it’s time Vincent and the council learn a lesson,” he said wiping away the final last tears from his eyes. The girl had gazed at him, only nodding in agreement. But in her eyes anger was the only thing there. Her ears still rung with what their mother's last words were. She clenched her fist.

“How?!” she said yelling, tears streaming from her eyes. She slammed her fist against the wall, making it crack slightly.

“How could we possibly go to war with the council? Who do we have to trust? Kate? Lance? That won't be enough people, Emrys!” She looked out the window, at the two people soaring towards the manor. “The council is well protected…”

“Zelena…” He said, putting his hand on her shoulder. “They will be here soon, please… let’s get ready…” Emrys face had tears streaming down to his chin.

“Mom would have wanted to go like this… she was the strongest creator anyone has known. Let’s send her off the way she would have wanted to go.” The two looked at their dead mother one final time before slowly leaving the room, gazing at the once cheery and vibrant woman now slumbering for eternity.

“I'm so sorry, Mom. We won’t let him bring anyone else down.” And with that, he turned off the lights and shut the door with a soft click.

Walking down the spiral stairs, Emrys had heard crying. He clutched the stairs handlebars as tears flowed down his face. He was sobbing even more now. He looked up to his mother's bedroom door. She was always there for him, this hurt him more than anything in the world. Zelena, Lance, and Kate had sat down at a small table, all deadly silent.  Many emotions were written on the young girl’s face. She was confused, sad, and a cold scowl was seen frowning down at the table. Kate was always a confusing person. But she was still a beautiful woman with her long black hair and fiat skin. Her icy blue eyes were the brightest thing about her when compared to the dark jeans and jacket she always wore. Her deep red leathery wings were pressed against her back as she continued to stare off into space.

Lance was a somewhat odd person. Not because he hid things, but because of his personality. He had the same stature as Emrys and eerie, deep, violet eyes. His hay-blonde hair was a bit wavy and had wings that were instead scaley and had horn poking at the tips. His scales were like a chameleons, seeming to shift from crimson red and a rich indigo.

“Emrys, I’m so sorry for your loss,” Kate sobbed while running over to hug her best friend.

“We’re here for you, if there’s anything you need, we’ll help you.” She sniffled. She always kept up a strong composure, but seeing her closest friend having to suffer made it unbearable for the poor girl.

Lance hugged Zelena tightly. “Im with Kate, anything you need, we are here.” Lance had said with a sad smile. Zelena only returned a weak smirk back at him, barely being able to hide her grief behind that plastered face.

There was silence in the room for a while. “Uhm.. We brought the boat.” Lance said trying to break the long silence. Emrys nodded, he went upstairs and grabbed his mother's body.

“We need to burn the body, send her off the proper way..” Zelena nodded, she closed her mother's eyes and put a coin in her mouth.

“Why are you putting a coin in her mouth?” Kate looked at Zelena a bit confused.

“So she can pay the ferryman, to ferri her to the next world.” Emrys nodded. “Oh, i see.” Kate held the door open for Emrys, Lance walked out of the mansion with Zelena.

The four had walked to the boat that was outside. “I know the perfect place, it's a small shore near the realms end, nothing is there except for ocean.” Zelena said, she nodded and started to walk towards the shore. The fall in Mythic was beautiful, the apple orchards had grown full delicious apples, wild pumpkins grew all over, the leaves had changed colour, red, yellow, brown, it was peaceful. The group had walked along a small stone walkway towards the rocky shore, the waters were a beautiful crystal blue, shiny yet cold. Emrys and Zelena placed their mothers dead body in the ship, they had both raised their right arms, a fireball appeared in both of their hands. Lance had pushed the boat into the cold shining waters, the two both shed tears as they threw the fireballs, the flames hit the sides of the boat and lit it on fire. The burning boat got further and further, and started to fade into the setting sun. Emrys, Lance, Kate, and Zelena all sat there watching the burning boat and the sunset. The two siblings had more than just the sunset on their minds, both of them were filled with rage, and a thirst for revenge.
