Just the perfect birthday!

“Who ya texting?” he asked putting his seat belt on “You remember Ryan right?” I asked “Oh yeah he goes by cry and wears that mask?” he asked “Yeah well we got together and met in real life and we called up our friends on Skype and they decided to throw a party at his house for my birthday and I’m meeting them later today.” I said “So you’re actually going to have a party huh?” he teased “They planned it not me.” I chuckled set my phone down put my seat belt on and drove to the diner that we always went to. We went inside and sat in our normal booth and we told stories like we usually do. They told the waitress it was my birthday while I was texting cry so when my food came it had a candle in it and they started to sing happy birthday to me. I wanted to hide because everyone was looking at me and I didn’t have my mask on. When the workers left my family laughed at me because it looked like I was about to blow away with the wind. But I took a deep breath and muttered “I hate you guys.” In a playful way and blew out the candle that was burning on top of my waffles. “And we love you.” Nathan teased he knew I hated people looking at me I took a big chunk of my waffles and ate them. “I’ve always wondered how is sky a hybrid but none of us are?” Monica asked whispering the word hybrid so no one around us could hear. “Well you see your grandpa or my dad was one it seems like it skipped me and your big brother and went to Skylar. You two wouldn’t have it but if we have another kid it would be a 50/50 chance that it would be like Skylar.” My mother explained I guess it skipped two generations which explains why I’m the only one with a real tail and ears. “That’s so cool! Can we meet grandpa?” Sadie asked “Sadly no your grandfather passed before Monica was born.” My father said making the two say ‘aw’.

We finished up and went outside after mom and dad paid. Sadie and Monica skipped behind me as I followed mom out, “Here you go honey, happy birthday, be safe, don’t be too crazy, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” My mom said and handed me a 100 dollar bill, “Thanks mom.” I hugged her then went to my dad “Love you baby girl all the stuff your mom said.” My dad said making me laugh “Thanks dad.” I walked over to my car “Alright come on. I’ll drop them off later!” I hollered and got in my car my siblings followed and I handed my bag with the four sup dudes in it to my brother. “Seat belts!” I yelled I heard three clicks then I did mine, I started my car and pulled out of the parking lot. I watched as my mom’s car drove the other way “Alright welcome to the wolf ride, where I’m going to show you how I drive and remember I drove nice and slow and obeyed everything if mom asks. So hold on to your ponytails girls because we’re going for a drive.” I smirked showing my sharp k-9 teeth I put on my sunglasses, took off my beanie and rolled down all four windows I turned up my radio. And put the petal to the floor and speed down the street with monster by skillet blasting. We took a long drive till noon-ish then I drove back home and picked up Zeke and my mask. Then I drove to the fair. I turned down the radio and pulled into the parking lot my hair had been blown back from the wind making me look cooler. I left my beanie in the car and I put my back pack on my back and strutted over with my siblings following me. I pulled on my mask and tightened the strings, I smiled and walked with Monica’s hand in my left hand and Zeke’s leash in my right.

We played a lot of games I won Sadie a little frog and Monica a couple fish. I bought Nathan a flower crown which he gladly wore I wore one as well. Monica and Sadie went and jumped on a bouncy castle as I leaned against a pole and pulled out my phone. “Hey guys shadow wolf here today’s my very special birthday so I thought I’ll inform you on what I’m doing today.” I spoke to the camera of the phone “Early this morning I had breakfast with my loving family, and my brother Nathan took me and my little sisters to the fair. Which I’m at right now, the little ones are over there in the bouncy castle.” I pointed the camera at the large thing “While I’m over here with a husky waiting for my brother to bring me my sprite and cotton candy.” I sighed and watched as my brother walked over and handed me my food “What’re you doing?” he raised an eyebrow as I filmed him “Doing a vlog what about you?” I asked “Wondering why my sister is weird.” He replied “He didn’t say which sister!” I sang making him laugh “Alright later today I’ll be doing a video so look forward to that. I’m shadow wolf and I’m signing out! Peace!” I said and did a howl ending the video “You’re a dork.” He messed with my hair “Hey Zeke Nathan wants to play.” I let go of the leash and watched as my large husky jumped on my brother and licked his face. “Good boy.” I laughed and took a drink of my soda and sighed happily this was, Just the perfect birthday.
