Lost in your crimes ~ Mel and Josh

  Chapter one~ Mel and Josh

Mel is just an average person that likes reading and writing books. She used to go to Barnes & Noble's and sit between shelf's as she fills her head with images and thoughts. Growing up her favorite writer was Judy Blume. Mel was engaged to Josh. They were dating for almost 5 years. Josh owns a hotel for 3 years.

While Mel was walking home from the library she felt nauseous and light-headed, she took a seat at the bus stop. While she waited for the bus to arrive she pulled out her phone and started typing her thoughts away.

The bus stops at the station, Mel got on the bus heading home.

The next day Mel felt sick, she ran to the bathroom and vomited. Her mother got scared so she went and got her a pregnancy test. Mel took the pregnancy test hesitating.

Couple minutes later

"OMG! MOM IM PREGNANT!"

She ran to her room and called Josh right away.

Josh didn't answer.

So Mel texted him.

" Hey, Josh! Can you come over!?"

No answer

Hours later

" Hey Mel, can't come over tonight sorry"

"No please you have to come! I have a surprise"

"Okay I'll try"

"See you then"

8:00*

Josh is not yet here.

9:00*

No

9:30*

"Hey! Sorry, I'm late."

"Don't worry about it?" Mel said.

"What was it? Why do u need me?"

"Oh right!"

Mel goes to her room and grabs a box filled with packing peanuts.

"What's this?" Asked Josh.

"There is something in there you have to look for it" Mel answered.

"Oh, okay"

Josh started looking...

Minutes later...... nothing

"Nothing is in here." Josh said.

"No there is, I'm sure I put it in there"

Mel puts her hands in the box looking for the surprise...Mel pulls her hands out with a pregnancy test.

"Guess you didn't find this?"

"Oh I'm sorry"

"Now you're sorry!?"

"Good news though, your pregnant, yay!"

Mel throws her pregnancy test at Josh and runs to her room crying.

Knocks on the door*

"Hey...." Josh said nervously " listen, I'm sorry. I'm just so caught up in work." A moment of silence.

"I'm just trying to make everything better, BETWEEN US! Since YOU have been caught up in work! That you just have been neglecting me. I just want to be part of your life! And I want you to be part of our baby's life"

"I know. And I promise I'm trying."

"I have a sonogram tomorrow. Wanna come?"

"Sure, I'll try"
