just like you used to

i put my fingers up to my face, touching every freckle and imperfection could see, connecting them like constellations.
just like how you used to.
i detatch them from my face and have them twirl my hair. my dull, straggly, weird hair.
just like how you used to.
i move to my nose and poke it. the same button nose you adored.
just like how you used to.
i move to my arms and hug myself tight.
just like how you used to.
i cuddle my pillow.
just how i used to.

i would never love another just like I used to.
so, i try to i love myself the way i loved you.

...

it's time to hide all these imperfections again.
