Suspicions

"We have to go back in THERE?!," Pablo asks. Mari nods. The girls groan and Pablo shakes his head. After a few complaints, they all finally went to his office. " Why Dr. R, Mari? How does he have anything to do with this?," asked MJ. "First, because why not? And, remember when he announced that all teachers and staff had a meeting after school?" " Yeah, so?" " When they all came out, they were zombies. Something tells me that he was the cause of all of this." <><><><><><><><> "You think that I did THIS? What makes you say this Mariselle?, " Dr. R denies and asks Mari. "Well, all the adults here changed AFTER they came out of YOUR meeting," she claims. Everyone started to agree with Mari. MJ continued for her, " It kinda makes sense. This infection thing had to have come from somewhere." "Or someone," Pablo finishes. Everyone walks out of his office all suspicious. As they were quietly walking down the hall, screams started to be heard. Laura says, " They're not ALL gone." They all saw a shadow pass by so quickly in front of them. Mari had gotten scared and gotten near Pablo. He just acts like he didn't notice. Raven breaks the silence, "So, who's gonna check?" Everyone looked at each other and hoped that someone would go and check because they were all afraid of what was there. Laura speaks up and looks to her left, "Well, maybe, the BOY should go." Pablo got surprised and asked, "Why me?! Why not MJ? She is really smart." MJ fired back by saying, "Well, YOU are the oldest out of all of us." "So? What do age and gender have to do with this?" "This is a great opportunity for you to show your bravery to us. And how manly you are....not that it matters or anything....," Mari answers and looks away while she does. All the girls still looked at him and Pablo was left with no choice, but to go and do a probably life-risking task. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Young Pablo was worried about what was there. "What if it infects me? What if I go crazy and get Mari and her friends? Will there be no survivors in the end?," he asked himself. He walks down the stairs so quietly, that you might've not even know someone was stepping on them if you weren't looking. He goes to the cafeteria and takes a knife. Not only did he look brave and not so worried, but he looked a bit scary. He saw the shadow and it must've seen him because it started run away. He took his knife snd chased after it, but it led him outside, in the sun, where it was never going to be seen. "Where would it be heading?," he thknks to himself. Pablo decided that he should follow it because it might be leading him towards somewhere. Somewhere with clues and possibly the solution to this problem.
