Tears threatened Moon's eyes as she turned and ran to her bedroom stepping on the blood soaked carpet. She entered her room and slammed the door behind her. The flashlight was her only source of light. "Oh my god" she mumbled over and over pleading for this all to just be a nightmare or some sick ass joke. She slowly opened the door again and nothing had changed everyone was still dead, murdered and mutilated. She shut the door again and grabbed her old college backpack and packed it with some clothes as well as changing out of her blood soaked rags. "They thought it was me before, they will think its me again..." she mumbled flipping on her hood and slipping her backpack on and climbing out the window escaping into the cold night. She ran through the dim streets as she felt eyes watching her from every direction. She kept running till she reached the woods and turned down the dirt path not stopping to take a breath. She came upon a old house, a mansion actually. "Zero!" She shouted pounding on the door. No one answered, she paused hearing the drip of a liquid. Drip drip drip it came from above as the black sludge from before dripped down in front of her. Moon stumbled back and tripped over herself. She looked up into the star light sky and there it was blood and black sludge mixing together. It dripped down from the monsters jaws . The beast looked down at her with dozens of blood red eyes before disappearing in a blink of an eye. The door creaked open before shutting again. The person opened the door again after unhooking the chain.
"Moon?" The person questioned stepping out holding her hand to Moon. She pulled herself up with the persons help. "Zero!" She called out.
"Wh-" Zero was cut off by Moon pulling her inside and shutting the door.
"What's wrong?" Zero asked concern in her eyes.
"Demon..." Moon paused. "Killed the guys..." She looked down tears threatening her eyes.
"Guys?" "Wait...you mean Edd,Matt,Tom,and Tord?" Zero sighed and grabbed Moon's wrist and took her to the old fashioned living room. "Sit down" zero said pushing Moon a bit to a seat.
Moon sat down and finally looked up. She was never one to cry in front of others so she was trying desperately not too.
"What happened?" Zero asked.
"It...we...we were just hanging out" "you know movies...then...Tom and Tord got into a fight as always" "i-i" her voice shook in fear. "Tried to separate them, b-but i don't know what happened...they flew!" "Flew!" "To opposite walls...i-i think i killed Tom..." "I...didn't mean to...the cops came and i was gonna get arrested...then it came...The demon...ripped them all apart" "Poisoned Matt,Stabbed Edd, And slashed Tord's throat..." "it-" she couldn't go on and broke out into tears. Zero listened to everything Moon had to say before heading over to her shelves. Zero, she plucked books from the shelves using her left arm to hold them. "All the books i have on demons are right here" she sat the books down on the table to Moon. "What did it look like again?" Zero asked laying the books out. 5 Books laid in a star shape. Each had a different demon on the cover. One instantly caught Moon's eye the one at the bottom right. She looked at it before pointing at the book. There was the demon that took her friends. Its tail in the back watching her the mouth was closed. "This thing..." Zero spoke picking up the book flipping through pages as Moon looked at the other demons. "W-who are they?" Moon asked scooting back in her chair. "I don't know" Zero responded looking at the books. "Some pages have been ripped, smudged, or to withered to read" "These books are ancient." Zero explained then went back to flipping through the pages. "The demon you saw was named 'Revet kjeve' which means Ripped Jaw in Norwegian where it was first sighted centuries ago" she read off the book. "Revet kjeve" Moon mumbled to herself. "But why me!?" she shouted standing up. "I don't know, Revet kjeve hasn't been sighted in millions of years" Zero shut the book setting it down in its place in the star. "You have to hel-" Moon was cut off by the candles and fireplace being blow out even tho no windows were open or a even a breeze in the old mansion. "Zero!?" She called out in confusion. Everything was dark, quiet, not even a cricket dare stur. Moon turned around looking around scared. "Revet kjeve!" she called out into the darkness. Red eyes opened in the darkness. It look to be sitting the eyes painting a sort of outline but where it's head was is unknown. "W-what do y-you want from me!" Moon called out to it her voice shaking. "You" It growled it's voice distorted. It lept and ran at Moon jaws opened and the split that opened like a flower opened in haft showing more razor fangs. It lunged and disappeared before hitting Moon. She fell to the ground a stinging pain rushed through her body as she started to wake.
