On The Other Side

Ashton grows more curious each second she stays in Serenity City. An airship comes from the sky, and Charlotte went on it after it landed.

"you guys coming?" Charlotte asked.

Everyone came aboard the ship, Ashton to be the last. I shake and start to scream. Everything touching me begins to melt apart. Carter, Paisley, and Madison's veins turn green and they fall, dropping to the floor of the ship. Kira runs over.

"What is wrong with them?" Kira said.

Kira puts her hand on Paisley.

"Where are we going?" Ashton asks.

"Bandle, why?" Charlotte said.

"Is Nova City okay?"

"It is not, it was the second city to fall. Bandle is all that is left. Since it is in the air, its harder to invade." Charlotte replied.

They approach Bandle City and it is under attack.

"May I ask, what is keeping the city in the air?" Kira asked.

In the center of the city, there is a machine that is solar powered, and it charges the rock with our anti-gravity technology and it just floats, Why?" Charlotte replied.

"Just wondering."

We land in Bandle City, near the power core holding the city up. A big shot of a cannon shot and hit the rock holding the city. The whole city rocks and building begin the crumble. We head into a fancy house and see Lisa there, with James.

"Quick, Lisa, you need to heal Austin and few others," Ashton says.

"Well bring them to me," Lisa says.

"Well, we can't," Kira says.

"And why not"

A big energy wave comes from my body, weakening the walls of the building around us. Lisa runs out to the airship and I have melted the walls and fell through it. I scream and try to stand, but everything I touch melts, and I am too weak.

"What happened to him?" Lisa asks.

"A guy with radioactive powers touched him, he is poisoned," Kira said.

Lisa attempts to get closer when finally, Lisa lays a finger on me and I stop melting things.

"Did you cure me?" I said.

"No, I just shut your body off. You will not be able to move until I heal you."

Lisa puts her hands together and begins to heal every part of my body by, hovering her hands over the part of the body she wants to heal. With every inch of my body that heals, the other guys begin to wake up, and the green veins disappear. When Lisa begins to heal my torso area, she then stops.

"What is the matter?" Ashton asks.

"His powers, he is connected to something that is on the verge of dying. What is he connected to?" Lisa asks.

"No idea! Maybe check Madison, her powers are not wanting to work either." Ashton replies.

Lisa finishes the healing. Everyone is awake and She pulls Ashton and Madison in the other room.

"Madison, can I do a health check on your powers. Austin is connected to something that forbids him to use his powers, I just want to check to see if that's the same thing with you?" Lisa said.

"Sure, but, I know something. Before I got captured, and Austin was mind wiped, the other Ashton paid me a visit." Madison said.

"What did she say?" Ashton asked.

"She said that all if she dies, Austin will need to forget about her or he will suffer from her wrongdoing, and asked me to help him forget about her."

"what wrongdoing?" Lisa said.

"I don't know, she just mentioned Amy, then left," Ashton said.

"So Amy has the answers we need, where is she?" Ashton said.

Another cannon fires and hits the city. The building everyone was in Begins to fall. The ceiling falls and Charlotte uses her powers and holds the entire roof up for everyone to get out. Ashton portals everyone out, including Charlotte. Enemy attack ships fly over the city and bombs release from the ships.

"ASHTON" Charlotte yells.

"Yeah I know"

Ashton raises her hand and shields the power core. Kira uses her powers to keep rocks and debris off of everyone around her. A rock slams against Ashton's head and knocks her out, releasing the shield from the core. One by one, debris from the buildings pile on top of the core and damage the charge panel.

"Crap! Are we going to fall out of the sky?" Carter yells, freaking out.

"No, that is what charges the whole thing, with all of the debris in the way, and it is broken, it will fall within 14 hours, depending on if we shut off everything that runs by electricity," Charlotte says.

"What..." Ashton says.

the enemy ships drop down soldiers and they march, destroying everything that still stands.

"The only way to get rid of the horrible evil people is to let Bandle fall, while they are here," Katy said.

"she is right. we need to let this city go if we want to get out alive and win this war."

Ashton saw an opening between the rocks and told someone to shoot at that spot. Paisley stepped up and shot an ice spike into the whole. All of the power in the city shut off, all of the noise stopped and everyone looked down as they knew what was going to happen. the ground quakes, and begins to fall down. As we fall, animals, citizens, and enemy soldiers were panicking, running around in fear. The ground gets close to the bottom. Ashton creates a massive portal and everyone fell through. Not far, when everyone came from the portal, Charlotte was not in the area.

"Charlotte!" Ashton worried.

Ashton falls down as she is sorry for letting Charlotte stay up there. Everyone looks up and they see Charlotte underneath the city, using her air powers to try and increase the impact of the city.

Ashton shields everyone and the City explodes into the ground, creating a push that knocked Ashton out and left everyone vulnerable. Rocks and debris fly out. Everyone shut their eyes and they wake hours later.

"What is that for?" Katy asks.

"What's what?" Lisa replies.

"Its the statue of Liberty!" Madison shouts. " Well, what's left of it."
