Ren x Noah (Fluff)

End of Summer

The sprout kids settled down for a final time, bags and bags of school supplies at their side.

Anastasia sighed, "Are you kids ready?" She glanced around the treehouse looking at the kids reactions.

With dopey grins on their faces, most of the kids nodded in delight. They all had been homeschooled up until now.

Anastasia began separating the supplies in piles depending on what the supplies were, "Okay kids, look at your lists and see what supplies you need." Anastasia went one by one sorting out all the supplies to each of the kids, "Does everybody have everything they need?"

"Yep!" Ren chimed, holding his new backpack tightly in his hands. Noah giggled, also clutching his backpack.

Anastasia checked her watch, "It's about time to take you kids home. Let's go." Anastasia lead each of the kids back home and waved goodbye.

The next morning Ren woke up suddenly to the sound of his alarm clock. He'd completely forgotten school was starting that day. He rushed down the stairs and out the door, hoping the other kids, Hickory and Paisley hadn't left without him.

On his way out the door his face slammed into a mass of fur. "A-ah oh my god I'm so sorry Ren!!" Noah, who was standing at the door, said flustered, "I uh... I-i-i was j-just about to k-knock, I'm-"

"NoaaAAaaAahH! Hii!!" Ren interrupted, "I'm so glad you guys didn't leave without me!"

"Wh-wh-why would we ever do thaat!! We're your friends!" Noah said, nervous.

"Well what are we doing? Let's go catch up with the others!" Ren said. He grabbed Noahs wrist and tugged him forward, smiling back at Noah as he blushed so much it could be mistaken for a fever.

"Oh darn.." Noah mumbled as he accepted being dragged along. How could he resist such a blissful face?

Ren and Noah caught up with the rest of the gang and they all began their voyage to school, all chatting about how great it would be, "Hey Paisley?" Mizu asked.

"What's up Zu?" Paisley replied.

"Well uh.. Dawn told me that Faith and I won't be able to.. Spend time together at school.." Mizu was obviously tearing up a bit.

Paisley pursed her lips, "Well, you two are in different grades, so you'll be in different classes.." She looked back at Mizu and saw her disappointed face, "But you guys will get to see each other, like at lunch!"

"Yay! I knew she was lying!" Mizu smiled.

Paisley looked both ways on the street they were about to cross, "But even if you two won't be in the same class, there are always the other kids you can make friends with." Paisley lead the kids across the road. This is where they faced their new school.

"Woow...." Ren's mouth was wide open, "Its so...big.." He paused and surveyed the building, "We could probably fit like.. eighty million tree houses in this place!"

Noah chuckled, "Yeah..." He looked at the ground nervously, "Uh..Ren.."

Ren swung his head over and cocked it to the side, "Yeah?"

"D-d-do you th-think we'll be in any of th-th-the same classes??"

"Oh yeah totally!! I mean..We'd gotta stay together, right?"

Noah hid his face and smiled wide, he uncovered his face and said, "Y-y-y-yeah! Totally!!"

Paisley walked them in the school building, holding Faith and Ren's hands, waving goodbye to Hickory as he walked away from the school building to get some rest.

At this school, it went all the way from Kindergarten to senior year of high school, and on first days, kids always got the first day to adjust, find classrooms and find a quick route to their classes since the building was so big it would need strategic planning. Luckily, Faith and Mizu wouldn't need that since they were still in the elementary grades where they didn't need to travel from classroom to classroom.

Dawn, Ren, and Noah got their schedules and Paisley decided to lead them around the school since she had some experience, "So, in public school at your grade, you have periods. Basically you have this set of classes that you rotate through during the day. Like here," Paisley pointed at a door labelled 'ELA,' "See that? ELA is an acronym that stands for English Language Arts. This is the classroom where you learn how to write, spell, fix grammar errors and all that!"

Ren cocked his head, "Hmm...ALE..." he muttered, "Why does that say ALE?"

Paisley turned over to Ren, "It uh.. It doesn't."

Ren squinted, "Ginger....Ale..."

Paisley laughed, "Oh Ren...So anyways, you all have different schedules. If you look at the top column of your papers you can see that. Dawn, you have language arts in this classroom for the first period, or the first class of the day. Ren, you have history, and Noah has Maths."

Dawn began jumping up and down, "Oooh! Oooh! Language arts! Does that mean we get to draw?!" She excitedly shouted. 

"Well, no, not exactl-" Paisley said.

But before she could finish her sentence, Dawn cut her off, "Heehee! I'm so excited!!" She looked up at Ren and Noah as stars shone in her eyes, until she spotted her friend Switch in the halls and she ran over, "I'm gonna go hang out with Switch, bye Paisley!!!!!" She waved goodbye before completely running off.

Paisley looked at Dawn with disappointment, "Okay? Just wait at the front gate once schools over!"

"Suuuuure!!" Dawn said as she skipped off.

Paisley pouted slightly and kept on giving Ren and Noah a tour, "And here's the gym. This is where you guys go for seventh period. See that? The P.E stands for Physical Education, so this is where you guys will exercise. Okay?"

"OOOH OOOH!" Rens eyes lit up, "So is this like...where we play games??"

Paisley chuckled, "Yeah!" Paisley lead the excited Ren back into the hallway, Noah following behind.

Ren clutched Noah's hand, smiling, "Its kinda crowded, but don't worry! I'll hold on so you don't get lost!"

Noah, flustered, pulled away slightly but Ren ended up tugging him along.

After Paisley showed them around the school and told them their route, she left them to explore.

"OK Noah, I'm gonna leave you with the map of the school. You two can wander around but make sure your back by the front gate," Paisley pointed at the map where the gate was, "by four pm, alright?"

Ren nodded hurriedly, "Let's go play games!!" He said, almost shouting.

"C-c-calm down Ren!" Noah chuckled nervously, "We'll play games in a minute, I uh...k-kinda wanna check out the b-band ro-"

Ren cut Noah off, "Awwwwwwww fine,"

"B-b-but we can go to the gym first! Uh...I guess.."

"Yay!" Ren smiled wide and bounced off.

"W-wait Ren! The gym is this way!!" Noah ran after Ren, trying not to shove anyone.
