*6 years later (she is 17)*
I sigh and close my eyes, awaiting the sting of her punch. I feel her fist connect with my face and the sting of my cheek, thats gonna be swollen for a bit. I sigh once again and get up, grab my bag and head for class. Once again I feel like I am a complete loner. I'm a senior now, its been 5 years since they left, since they left the school, since they left the UK and since they left me. I am shocked when I feel a tear slide down my swollen cheek. Then I hear a voice, a melodic voice. "Hey? Are you...are you okay?", It sounded like Andy making me realise I'm crazy for thinking that they would come back."Hello? Can you hear me?"
I nod my head and turn around hearing, what sounded like, 5 gasps. I look up and see them, my best friends. I hug them and they look shocked. "G-guys?", I sigh realising that they have forgotten me."You wont remember me but I'm Melissa, we met on our first day here."
Suddenly I am engulfed in a bear hug. "MELI! W-what happened to your...", Jinxx trailed off pointing to his cheek
"Oh, um it was Maria."
"As in...the girl Ash kissed all those years ago?", it was now Jake's turn to speak
I nod once again and suddenly I'm on somebody's back. He turned his head and I saw it was Andy. I laughed and then the bell rung, signalling that it was the end of the school day. I sigh and hop off Andy's back, grab my school bag and slowly walk out of the school grounds. Suddenly Jinxx walks in front of me. "why aren't you happy to get home?", Andy and Ash suddenly turned to me, awaiting the answer.
"My mum and dad a-abuse me?", I said it unsure if it was the right thing to do"I'm running away tonight but I need a place to sleep."
Suddenly Andy grabbed me, slung me over his shoulder and walked over to his tour bus. "YOU are staying with us."
"A-are you sure? I don't want to intrude or anything"
Andy nodded and then kissed my cheek. His lips were warm and soft. I smiled and hugged him, he hugged back and soon it was a group hug.
