"She must be banished until we know how to handle this sort of thing." The doctor said to the father of a newly born baby girl.
"My daughter will not be out in exile. She hasn't even been born for 5 minutes. She has done nothing wrong. Charlie please tell him he isn't taking our child!" The mother of the baby said years stinging her eyes. But as the child reached up and held her mother face, a wave of calmness and relaxation came over the mother.
The mother smiled down at the beautiful creature knowingly that she was powerful. She kissed the baby's forhead. "She's just a child, she will do no harm to anyone." Said the mother cooeing to her newborn child.
"We are not certain of that MaryAnn. No one has birthed such a powerful child since...." the doctor trailed off. But the mother knew what he meant. "He will not allow this child to live. Especially with greater powers than he. If you want her to live her life she must be taken far from here. Away from the Woodland Kingdom where she will be safe." The doctor reassured the newly parents.
They were hesitant but the saftey of their child's life was more important than spending it with her. "Okay. I'll take her tonight. To the forbidden forest. Where even the king will not go." The father of the blue and green eyed child said.
The mother looked down to her baby girl and whispered they shall see each other again. She gave the baby to the father. The doctor handed him some blankets and a little picnic basket. "There is a small abandoned cottage halfway in the woods. Take her there and the animals will keep her safe."
"Thank you for all that you've done." The father said and went on his way.
