As a 16 year old girl, life is pretty hard. It doesn't help when you're bisexual and barely have parents. What I mean is that my mum is always working and my father passed away when I was 12. I still wake up screaming and crying, telling him not to run into the burning building; but it was his job.
When Brian came into my mum's life, he stepped in as a father figure for me and my little sister, Meddows. Meddows was only 5 so when Brian proposed to our mum, he also proposed to Meddows with a necklace with her name engraved in it. I was 15 and didn't need that kind of shit so Brian didn't really do anything special for me. I had always felt comfortable around Brian, so after a year of him being my father figure, I finally decided to tell him.
My palms were sweating terribly as I walked up to him sitting on the couch. We usually watched television while my mum was working and Meddows was asleep.
"Hey Brian, can we talk?" I asked while scratching the back of my neck.
"Sure (Y/N), what's wrong?" He adjusted his position so his body was facing me as he patted the spot next to him where I usually sat. I sat down quietly and played with my (Y/H/L) hair.
"Well I've had something on my mind that I've been meaning to tell you and mum for a while now. I just wasn't sure how to do it." I continued twirling my hair.
"You can tell me anything (Y/N)." He said very calmly, he was very persuasive, he even got Meddows to call him 'dad' instead of Brian.
"I'm just going to come out and say that I'm bisexual. I had been talking with your bandmate, Freddie, on how to tell you guys." I looked down, ashamed.
Brian calmly embraced me in a hug and patted my back.
"(Y/N), your mum and I will love you for whatever gender you take interest in." I couldn't see but I could tell he was smiling.
As I pulled away from the hug, I lifted my head up and smiled.
"Thanks Bri- I mean... dad." I said, and he smiled from ear to ear. I flipped the television to a show about animals and they were talking about poodles.
"Hey dad it's you!" I laughed and pointed at the television which was blaring a bright picture of poodles. He laughed and shook his head.
I am so lucky to have a father figure like him.
This was shit also. I feel like all of the band members would be great dads but especially Brian and John. Anyways, sorry it took so long to post again, I was decorating Christmas cookies for the past two days. Might be a while until the next update. -P
