"Ciana! What are you doing up there? Your friends are waiting to say goodbye" , shouted my dad from below the stairs which leads to my bedroom. He was my only family. I never knew my mom. My dad told that she left right after I was born. He hated her for abandoning us like that. So he hardly speaks about her and I have no pictures of her. I was checking my bag one last time to see whether I've packed everything. As I zipped my bag, I stumbled upon something hard. I had stumbled upon my diary. My precious possession. I picked it up and I put it in my bag. I carried it and I went downstairs. My best friend Lilly threw her arms around me. She was sobbing as she hugged me. "Lilly, please don't cry. It's not like we can't see each other ever again. I'll call you everyday. We'll text each other, I'll send you pics, we'll always be in contact. So, stop crying". I tried to comfort her, but I was about to start crying too. Before that could happen, my second best friend Becky came to my rescue. "Yes, Lilly. Ciana's right. We'll always be in contact. Don't worry. " She came over to us and said, "Let's have a group hug." We hugged awkwardly. "I'll take a selfie", I said. I pulled out my phone and took a pic of us. "Ciana, it's time to leave" said my dad, walking into the house. We said our final goodbyes and I climbed into out car and waved through the window. Finally, we were really moving to London. I can't believe I'm going to be leaving my dearest house and school and my best friends behind. I agreed just for my dad as he got a transfer to London. I stared out the window trying to hold back my tears.
