Back In Time (Luke Brooks)

Chapter Three

As soon as the girls were done with the dishes we all decided to hit the sack. It wasnt very late but something about going through time, or whatever, made us really tired. And according to Mike and John, they had a long day too so they were exausted!

Murron showed us to our rooms, I shared with Skip and Beau. James and Jai shared also.

1 Hour Later

I was waken up by small footsteps outside of my door. Instead of moving on they stopped and I could sense a hand position itself on my door. I slowly sat up and my bed creaked quite loudly. Then the footsteps continued on a bit faster than before. Last, I heard the door open and close. Someone left. But who?

I got out of bed, making sure not to wake Beau. As I was walking down the hallway I was trying to follow where I heard the footsteps go. Front door or back? Im going to stick with the back, they couldnt of went out the front anyway because of the villages cerfew. 

I was right, as soon as I exited the back door I saw a glimpse of black hair sneak in the woods. It could only be one person.... Chelsea.

I followed her all the way on some path to a pond?  A lake maybe? I turned the corner of a tree and I saw this beautiful waterfall. The only thing that would make this the most amazing view would be if Chelsea was standing infront of me. Wait a second... Where is she??

"Why are you following me?" Turning around I jumped at the sound of her voice.

"I-I um, I heard somebody leave the house and I was curious."

She raised her eyebrow and slowly walked around me, "Well since we're here we might as well have some fun right?"

"How do you plan on-" Before I could finish she started stripping her clothes but before she got fully naked she dove into the water, leaving only her bra and undies on. Is it wrong of me to want her to be fully naked? 

"Well..."

"Well what?" I asked.

"Arnt you getting in?"

"Getting in? There could be like... deadly... things." She started laughing.

"Ive been coming here a couple nights a week for a long time and so far I havent been bothered."

"I dont know..."

"Just take off your damn shirt and get in!" 

Did she just cuss? I didnt know people in this era knew those words! I kept asking myself questions about doing this but I finally gave in. I took off my shirt and my pants, so I was only in my boxer shorts, and jumped in. Doing a cannonball! 

When I came up for air I noticed that Chelsea was laughing.

"That was a huge splash!" She stated. 

I laughed, then slowly made my way to her. Only moments later we were treading water, face to face. 

She steadily yanked her head back, "Follow me, I want to show you something."

She started to swim towards the waterfall then dove under the water. I didnt know what to do so I just went under too. Keeping my eyes open I swam after her. By the looks of it, we were swimming under some rocks. A few seconds later I saw her near the surface, its about time, I was about to run out of breath!

I came up to heavy breaths being made by both her and I. 

"So do you like it?" She said as she sat down on some rock in the water. 

"I love it. Is it suppose to be like a moon pool or something?"

"Exactly!" 

I swam over to join her on the rocks. 

"Time Traveler huh?" She came out and asked. I was stunned. 

"Umm, I have no idea what your talking about. Im your brothers friend."

"You dont have to lie, John and Mike told me everything. Not just me, the rest of my sisters also."

"What do you think about that? I mean me being a kind of time traveler?"

"I dont really think much of it. We have only ever had one other time traveler come here," she said, "but he came for a purpose, you guys came by accident."

"For a purpose?"

"Yeah, we never really found out why but thats why we know a little about it. Our Uncle knows more and thats why you guys have to wait for answers until he gets here."

"Oh, I see," I put my arm around her back, "Now its my turn for a question."

She nodded her head.

"Why do you have a fiance at such a young age?"

"Well, you see, in our time," She used air quotes with time, "We usually have arraged marriges, but in some casses you get to pick. But sadly for me its going to be arranged."

"Why?"

"I have a hard time obeying or following the rules, so John thinks it would be good to get married because it would teach me responsibillity."

"Thats uncool."

"Your telling me."

"Is there anything you could do to stop it?"

"Why are you so intrested?" She laughed.

I could feel my face burn, "No reason."

"Well, I supose if I actually fell in love then it would be a different story. Since I have never had any feelings towards a guy John has no hope in me finding love. So that is one of the reasons of this arranged marrige."

"But you dont want to get married?"

"Correct."

"And in order for you to stop the wedding you have to fall in love with another guy and potenially marry him?"

"Correct again! Man, your on a role."

"Well maybe I can help."

I crashed my lips into hers and at first she didnt kiss back. But then it was like we were meant to be. I licked her botton lip, asking for entrance and she greatly accepted. We sat there for a few minutes, my hand caressing her face while hers were on my arms. Then she leaned back, her forhead against mine.

"If you keep kissing like that then this marrige will be over in no time," she laughed.

I chocked out some laughs too and then I leaned back in.
