Chapter 1: Challenge

Virgil's POV
It was just another day...
(A/N:This is already really cheesy XD
I sat up in my bed to see that it was still dark outside. I was covered in sweat,
"Another Nightmare?" I turned my head to see my adoptive brother standing in my doorway.
"Yeah Pat, I'm fine though.."
"Ok... well it's time to get ready for school..." He ended with a bright smile.
"Ok.."
He nodded and walked out. I sighed and crawled out of bed.

I was wearing what I normally do, My self-made hoodie, and blacked ripped jeans. I grabbed my wireless headphones and put them on. I grabbed my phone and pressed shuffle on my playlist. I walked down stairs to see my adoptive fathers, Thomas and Nico Sanders.

"Virgil are you going to eat?" Nico asks. I just pretend like I can't hear him and sit down. Thomas sighs.
"I'm not hungry right now sorry.." I reply. Nico nods and then smiles. "So! How are things with Roman?~"
"Ummmm... I..-" There was a knock on the door.
"That must be Logan and Roman!" Patton saved.
"Wait-"
"Bye!!" Patton waves with a bright smile as I wave and walk out before him.
Patton shuts the door behind him and then runs up to his Boyfriend
"Logan!!!" Patton exclaimed as he jumped into his arms, Logan catching him then spinning him around, causing them to laugh. Me and Roman looked at them in disgust.
"They're to cute for their own good..."
"Agreed."
I should explain who these people are,
Logan and Roman are brothers who have lived next door to us for as long as I can remember. Logan and Patton eventually started liking each other and then started dating, going on for 4 years now. They keep saying Roman likes me but I don't think so... He actually probably does... Lol and you thought this was gonna be a cliche gay love story~
Roman:VIRGIL!
what?
Roman:NO BREAKING THE 4th WALL!!!!!
Oh right, sorry...
And obviously I like him to. Anyways back to the dialogue!
Roman: VIRGIL!
OK! GEEZ! I'M SORRY!

We were At our lockers and Patton and Logan were making out in the stalls so it was just me and Roman. We somehow got onto the subject if we were ever dating and so then Roman said,
"Hey I have an idea,... What if we dated for a month but not like an actual couple, just to see how it would be. and we can't fall in love with each other. I thought for a bit.
"Sure!" I smirked. "But if you fall in love with me then... I get to spread a weird rumor about "Mister popular" and you have to admit it's true."I smirk. Roman laughed.
"Sure. And if you fall in love with me then... I get your car!" My eyes widened when suddenly bell rang.
"Sooo... Deal?" Roman extended his hand.
"Hmmm sure!" We shake hands as we smirk at each other. I turn around and start walking but then turn around smirking and say,
"And remember, you're not allowed to fall in love with me~"
"Won't be a problem." Roman smirked. I turn back around, smirking, and walk off to class.
