The Bad Boy and Me: Chapter 1

~Valerie's P.O.V~
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
"Ughhhh" I mumbled, trying to go back to sleep
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
"Fine." I muttered, getting up from my cozy bed, with my hair a complete mess
The time was 6:45, so I still had plenty of time and with that, I hopped into the shower, taking my sweet ol' time
When I finally got out of the shower, I put on my uniform, went downstairs where I was greeted by my mom with a bowl of cereal, extended to me, in her hand.
"Morning, honey" she yawned, looking tired enough to fall asleep
"Morning" I mumbled, walking slowly to the table to eat my cereal
"I think it's going to rain today..." she said walking out of the room ending our "conversation" if that's what you want to call it...
After I finished my cereal, I ran back upstairs, straightened my hair, and brushed my teeth. Right as I finished, Ryan, my best friend, honked loudly outside waiting for me to come so we could get to school.
Ryan was 6'0 tall, had light brown hair, brown eyes and was pretty well built, and good-looking. I've never had a crush on him though, even though people have said that he's got a crush on me. I never believe them because I know it's not true. He's never looked at me that way, and neither have I to him.
Anyways, I ran downstairs, opened the door, and rushed into his car just in time so that Howie, my creepy neighbor, wouldn't ask for a ride. Howie is like my fregley. He never leaves me alone and always pretends that we're friends. He's a complete creeper, and has a huge crush on me, like a perverted crush. He also goes to my school making it even harder to avoid him
When we finally got to school Ryan opened the door for me and asked me concerningly "You didn't talk the whole ride here, is something bothering you?"
"Nahhh, I'm just thinking about the math test..."
"You're such a nerd Val" he laughed
"I'm not a nerd, I just care about my grades, unlike some people" I pointed at him and he laughed even more
"One day you'll regret what you've said" I remarked evilly
"Ooo I'm so scared, little Val, is going to hurt me" he laughed, making me take off his baseball cap, and run away
"VAL!" he screamed, sprinting after me trying to get his hat back
"OH DID I STEAL YOUR "PRECIOUS" HAT? HOW SAD" I yelled back at him laughing the entire time
"GIVE ME MY HAT" he yelled back at me, and I threw his hat into my locker, and locked it
"You won't get your hat back until you've apologized" I smirked happily
"You're an evil little girl.." he said dramatically, like we were in a movie
"Apologize, or mister hat goes into the trash..." I singed
"Fine..." he muttered "I'm sorry for calling you a nerd." with that I unlocked my locker, and gave him his hat back "NOT!" he screamed, running away with his hat in his hand
Then the bell rung, so I went to english, and sat in my normal spot
"Ok kids, today we're going to learn about..." blah blah blah, blah blah. I was six chapters ahead, I already knew what he was talking about.
All of the sudden, I feel throw something at me, making me turn around and no one was there. It happened again and I turned around again and no one was there, AGAIN. It happened three more times after that and finally I yelled out "WHO THE HELL IS THROWING THOSE DAMN PAPER BALLS AT ME!"
The teacher then gasped and said "Valerie Wells, we do not use that kind of language."
I protested "Everyone does, you just don't hear them because you're to busy making out with Mr. Simone to hear them." everyone burst out laughing making me smirk right at the teacher, who was in shock
Ok, Valerie, what the hell are you doing? That good girl image, being nice to all teachers? Woah, this was a totally different me
"VALERIE DETENTION NOW!" the teacher screached, her face as bright as a ripe tomato
"Shit..." I mumbled as I stomped out of the room
I don't know what just came over me, it was like evil Valerie just came to start her rein of terror among the teachers. I walked slowly to detention, taking my time because that teacher really pissed me off...
When I got to detention opened the door, I sat down only to find 5 people other than me in the room, the teacher was asleep, and when I finally noticed who those people were, I was scared for my life.
It was Carter Reynolds, his best friend Chase Aarons, and his friends Micheal, Darren, and Lee..
The biggest trouble makers in the school.
They were all staring at me, suprised that little miss good girl was in detention and that's when Chase spoke up and said "If it isn't Valerie Wells, the school's good girl..." smirking at me
"Aww, don't be scared, you look adorable when you're scared" he said stepping closer to me
I then grabbed my notebook and started drawing in it, to basically say, "Leave me alone."
"What's this?" he asked, quickly grabbing the notebook out of my hand
"Aww look at your drawings" he said smiling
"Can I please have my notebook back?" I asked quietly
"Nope." he said handing it to Carter, who hadbeen quiet the whole time, looking at his phone
"Hm." he said looking through it
"Can I please have it back now?" I asked again
"No, I think I'll be keeping this.." Carter replied taking a step closer to me
"Shit..." I cursed under my breath making Carter look at me and say
"Little miss good girl curses, that's adorable" Carter said looking straight at me
"What the hell do you even want anyway Reynolds?"
"Hmm I don't know, you tutor me, and I give you back this notebook, piece by piece."
I laughed replying "Hell no."
"So cute" Chase sitting next to me and pinching my cheeks
Carter laughed responding "You don't have a choice"
"I think I do." I replied quickly grabbing my notebook, and running out of the room, hoping to get away from them
Carter started chasing after me, and he was a fast runner, so I ran into the girl's bathroom, taking refuge in there...
