Nicole's p.o.v.
Lucy and Jake walk out of the house and both sit in the back of the car. I was a little confused about this usually Lucy sits up front with me when I drive.
"Lucy you know you can sit in the passenger seat since I am driving." I say looking at her she looks like she doesn't have a care in the world.
"Ya but I am fine hear." She says not even bothered to look at me.
"Ok but watch out you are sitting in the back with Jake."
"Ok" she says still daydreaming.
"What ever." I say then starting the car.
I turn the radio on and start singing to happy. Jake and Lucy join in and we end up sounding like dying cats. We get to school and I park the car in our usual parking spot. I make sure I have all my homework this time.
I start getting out of the car when Lucy doesn't follow. I get mad. Why does she not want to hang with me anymore.
"Come on Lucy we need to get to our lockers. Your locker is farther away then mine is so you need to hurry." I made that excuse up. Even though her locker is farther away from home room then mine I still take more time to get to class.
"It's ok I can catch up go on." She says. This made me mad so much I just wanted to punch a locker.
"Ok." I say trying not to sound mad.
I walk inside the school. I feel so lonely usually me and Lucy do everything together but now it feels like she is trying to avoid me. I get to my locker and Scott is standing there. I feel so much better now.
"Hey babe" he says winking to me.
I could already tell that I was blushing.
"Hey" I say
"Are we still on for tonight?"
"Yes." I say I didn't say much I didn't want to embarrass myself for saying something stupid.
"Cool well see you later and also I will pick you up at 5:30" he says
"Ok I will be ready then." I say grinning
"See you later babe."
"See ya."
I put the books I don't need into my locker. Since I don't have anything to do I go to class for once early. So I get my phone out and start playing it. When class starts I put my phone away but I still had one earphone in listening to music. After school I hurry up and put my books away. We didn't have any homework so I have more time to get ready for tonight.
I go outside and Lucy and jake are standing in front of the car.
"I am glad you didn't take so long this time." jake says
"Ya it started to get hot." Lucy said her face was blood red.
"Why didn't you just get in the jeep?" I ask
"You have the keys and I didn't get the second set."jake says
"Oh" I say. I totally forgot that I had the keys.
"You can drive." I say I felt so bad.
"Nah I don't want to." He says.
"What jake doesn't want to drive what a shock" I say then holding my hand up to my mouth.
"Whatever" he says
"Just drive, I don't want to." I says while lifting the keys up in the palm of my hand.
