The Marriage Law: A Romione/Hinny Fanfic

Chapter 2

(time skip: September 1st)
It was the September first and all of them were very eager to go back to Hogwarts. All of them got their trunks packed up and ready to go. It was seven-thirty in the morning when they had breakfast. "Hey Harry, do you know who's head boy this year?" Ginny asked him, Harry popped his head, "yeah," he said, "I'm head boy this year." Ginny squealed in happiness and hugged Harry, "that's bloody brilliant!" she exclaimed still hugging Harry, very tightly. "why is it 'bloody brilliant'?" Harry asked her when she finally let go. "well isn't it obvious?" Ginny said putting her hands in her waist, "I'm head girl!"

"Awesome!"

"well congrats to both of you," said Hermione taking the four empty plates in front of them and putting them in the sink, "but we better get going. Its already eight and we need to get ready." she said and all of them nod their heads.

After two hours of getting ready the girls were finally done. "finally!" exclaimed Ron, taking Hermione's bag, "what took you so long?" Harry asked them. "umm, we really don't know what the reason is really." said Ginny handing him her trunk. Harry raises an eyebrow, "Its true!" Ginny told him, "I guess its just one of the perks of being a girl." Harry just shakes his head at this.

When Harry and Ginny went outside to the car, Harry pulled the door open to see that he wished he never saw again. Ron and Hermione was making out and, unfortunately for Harry, he came to see that Hermione was shirtless and was on top of Ron.

"Jesus Crist!" exclaimed Hermione as she jumped off Ron and put her shirt over her chest. "Bloody hell!" said Harry tuning back, and suddenly Ginny came, "hey guys, what are you--" she said then stopped when she saw Hermione shirtless then burst into laughter, Hermione was putting her shirt back on and the couple who was in the car turned beet red. A few minutes later, Ginny stopped laughing and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley came and off they went too kings cross. It took them thirty minutes to for them to arrive in kings cross.

When they finally arrive at kings cross, they were greeted with muggles running around all over the place, when they reach the walls of platforms nine and ten, Harry and Ginny said goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, and ran towards the wall, they were soon followed by Ron and Hermione.

They were at platform nine and three quarters and there was a lot of people running around, but you cant see the ones at the very back very clearly for there was a very thick layer of smoke that came from the train, so the four teenagers dropped their bags at the back compartment and so they looked for a compartment that was empty, and luckily they saw one that was close to the doors. It hit eleven-o'clock and the train was about to leave.

They were sitting quietly when a fifth year student came to their compartment and all of them sat up straight, the girl was shocked to see Harry, Ron, and Hermione, she instantly went back to reality, "headmistress McGonagall wants to see the Head Boy and Girl. She said that she will be expecting the both of you at the Heads compartment at no later than two forty-five." She said and left without another word.

Harry looked at his watch, "well, its already two thirty-five," he said "so we better get going." Ginny nodded her head and stood up. "and please don't eat eath other while we're gone." Ginny told them, "well mabe you and Harry should do the same then." Ron told her, and Hermione gave a small laugh. And Ginny just rolled her eyes and went to the compatment with Harry.

Harry and Ginny went to the very back of the train and when they entered the compartmet, the room was breathtaking, there was the coulours of Griffindor, and it represents the common room very well. There are bookshelves on the walls, paintings, a small table full of snacks, and a place that has two armchairs and a couch. "this looks wonderful." said Ginny as she walked around the compartment, completely and utterly amazed, "yeah." replied Harry, also looking around.

After looking around and taking a few snacks hre and there, headmistress McGonagall arived. "good afternoon, Mr. Potter and Ms. Weasley." she said taking a seat at the table by the corner, "Good afternoon headmistress." said Harry and Ginny, "sit down both of you." McGonagall said motioning her hands in the two chairs infront of the table, and Harry and Ginny did what they were told.

After a few discussions about what the should and shouldn't do. They were finished with the small meeting they had, Harry and Ginny were going back to the small compartment with Ron and Hermione inside.

They didn't want to barge inside because they think they might see something that they dont want. They open the dook slowly, and surprisingly, Ron and Hermione were at the same spot when they left them.

"Oh, hey guys!" said Hermione putting down her book, "what did McGonagall talk about?" she asked. "oh just some stuff that we should do and shouldn't do." answered Ginny looking at them suspiciously, "if you're thinking why we're not 'all over each other'," said Hermione, "then you've just always have bad luck to see us that way." she said and Harry and Ginny just rolled thier eyes.

It took them another hour to reach Hogwarts. And they were greeted with a big and hairy half giant. Hagrid. "well if it ain't, the three who saved the wizarding world." Hagrid said putting his hands in his hips, all of them hug Hagrid. After minutes of chatting, the four teens say goodbye to Hagrid and went to the great hall.

The great hall was full of students as always, they took thier seats, Ron and Hermione facing each other and so are Harry and Ginny.

McGonagall came stood infront, and said, "may the feast begin." and with a blink of an eye food was in thier table and all of the students started to dig in.

Ron, as always,  was stuffing his mouth with food, then he looked at the slytherin table to see Malfoy, the Draco Malfoy. "hey, is that Malfoy from the slytherin table?" said Ron, after swallowing the huge amount of food in his mouth, the other three look at the Slytherin table and thier eyes went wide to indeed see Malfoy.

"am I hallucinating?" asked Hermione. The ohers shake thier heads. They all sigh, "why did McGonagall let him in Hogwarts?" said Harry, "we don't know why Harry," said Ginny, "but I think McGonagall has her reasons. And that reason is giving him a 'second chance'" the four teens shake thier heads.

All of the students were finished with supper and all were stuffed and ready to go to bed. "Good evening, students. And welcome to Hogwarts once again." Said McGonagall with a smile on her face. She continued her speech and when she was finished, she let the students go back to thier common rooms.

The seventh years were ready to go then McGonagall called, "oh, and seventh years, please stay here. There is news i want to anounce to the seventh years." she said and the seventh years sat back down.

"I bet that all of you were confused of why you needed all the extra supplies this year," she said. "and there is a very good explanation for that." the headmistress sighed and continued. "you see, there is a new law that has been made because of the fact that the wizarding world has decreased its number of people due to the war. And that law is..... "
All of them were very eager to know what it was.

"a marriage law."
