Chapter Two

Jessica's P.O.V.

BEEP BEEP BEEP.

I turn my head and look and see that its only 7:30! Crap Crap I'm going to be late. I grab my brush and some mascara and run down stairs. I see my dad and mom sitting at the table.

"How come you didn't wake me up?"

"Oh sweet heart, I just figured you would want to sleep in after the crazy weekend you had," my mom says sympathetically. I look at her and realize shes just trying to understand me.

"Well thanks mom, but I have a test today. Ugh that i didn't study for. It's all good,"I grab a banana."Okay I love you guys bye, oh and Aden will probably come over after school so umm yea love you I have to go." With that I walk out the door and into my Chevy silverado truck I'm the only person at my school that drives a truck or a nice car really a side from the rich kids.... like me

Once I got to school the first bell just rang so I had to run to my first period (Chemistry). I sat down and Mia my best friend looked at me and waved I waved back. I turned around and saw Aden with a worried look.

"Hey, where were you? How come your late?" He asked.

"Don't worry, I didn't wake up to my alarm and my parents thought I would want my sleep after the party. How come..." I didn't get to finish before the teacher Mr.Sycs told everybody to shut up andlisten. The rest of the day went by slow and long like every other day.

After school I saw Adrian and Riley being all lovey dovey and Aden standing next to them looking like he wanted to throw up.

So I walk over to them,"hey," I say as more of a question and Aden puts his arm around me."So... Is everybody coming over to my house or do you just want to come with me and let whatever they are be alone?" Adrian shoots me a death glare and than smiles and kisses riley.

"Well it doesn't matter to me but they'll probably want to be alone so, looks like it's just me and you 'studying' tonight." he puts his hands in quotations as he says studying. I laugh and so does Riley.

I wave goodbye to them and Aden pulls me away to my truck. I have know idea why he knows where it's at, but he does. It was a kind of a long walk to the other side cause I was late so I had to park far away.

Once we get to my truck I hand him the keys. He usually drives, I make him nervous, I'm slightly a bad drive so I let him drive.

When we get to my house of course my parents aren't here they never really are. Aden goes to the living room and turns on the tv,"Jess come here." So I go to the living room and sit down next to Aden.

"What did you need?"

"To tell you something." He says with 100% seriousness in his voice.

"Like?"

"Well I don't know how to say... umm.. say this..."

Ok this is scarring me a little bit,"Just tell me."

"Well ... I umm love you." he says with the biggest smile on his face. What a jerk, he just scared the crap out of me.

"Your evil!! I'm now officially mad at you..." I say and turn away and cross my arms.

"Ok" and he grabs my waist and starts tickling me and I start kicking and laugh/crying.

There's a loud bang and we stop, I hold my breath. Aden gets up and starts walking to where the noise came from. Than out of nowhere Adrian jumps out with beer and pizza," hey Riley ditched me so I thought I should come join the party and plus your dad called mine and said they were gana be out of town for the next few days. So he's gana come check on you tomorrow." he sees my face turn into sadness," sorry"

My parents do that a lot, that's probably why they only had one kid.
