the sparks have gone out.

"we've been together for a long time now, if i remember clearly 4 or 5 years?" rosé utters as she sat quietly in the bed. looking at jisoo who stands across her, leaning on the table.

broken glasses from the vase of withered flowers, and papers scattered all over the floor. the room looked like a mess, and so did jisoo.

jisoo replies without gazing at rosé, "you can't even remember how long we've been together.." jisoo took a deep sigh, as if preventing her sob from being heard. "7 years."

"it was supposed to last a lifetime, but why are you choosing to end it?" jisoo added, she lifts her head up and tears are falling nonstop from her eyes. rosé almost took a step forward to hold jisoo but she knew, she no longer had the right to.

"i'm choosing to end it, because i don't love you anymore." rosé replies firmly, and a tear escaping from her eyes, "i'm sorry."

"it's because of her, isn't it?" jisoo stammered, and silence filled the room for a second.

"i love her." as jisoo saw rosé's face when she said that.. she remembered how rosé looked at her when she still loved jisoo. "and you already know, this relationship fell apart years ago." rosé continued.

rosé picks up the papers from the floor, and handed it to jisoo. "please, just sign the divorce papers. i can't handle seeing you like this anymore... just let me go."
