It was a cold winter, a stormy night. The trees were uprooted by the strong wind, the rain started to make seas in the streets, the people were in their houses covered up by tons of blankets while the rest were rushing to their houses before it could shower even more. The storm grew bigger in the last two hours, the coastal lands were suffering from the winds that came with the crashing waves.

It wasn't the best of days in Vroana, a so far lively small town with cheerful people who knew and loved each other. They called those stormy days 'the unlucky days' and which was so true to them.

Some guards in carriages were roaming all over the small town looking if there were any people outside, so they could help them go home safe.

"Is Anyone here?!" One of the guards yelled.

"Man, I can't see anyone and it's freezing here. Let's just go back home" another guard suggested.

"HELP! Help us please!" A man yelled running towards the carriage.

The guards snapped their heads towards the crying voice to find Mr. Brad Blue, the bakery's owner. A chubby man with black hair, brown eyes, a cute grin and chubby red cheeks. It was so sad and frustrating for the guards to see the 43 years old man wailing like that.

"What is it, Mr. Blue?" A guard yelled back jumping off his carriage to run towards Mr. Blue.

"It's my wife, she needs a labour, the baby is coming out and it seems like she's dying. We need a medic, Franky" Mr. Blue explained still wailing.

"Don't worry Monsieur Blue, we'll bring a medic to Mrs Blue as fast as we can, you go stay with her." Franky, the guard comforted.

"Carriage 3! Come take Mr. Blue to his house!" Franky called grabbing the attention of the guard that was on carriage three. Quickly the carriage came, Mr. Blue jumped in it and the driver went on his way to Mr Blue's house, and with that, the storm got nothing but heavier.

"Wife! Wife!" Mr. Blue yelled as he ran into the house.

"In here, Mr Blue" came the faint voice of Mrs. Marline Blue. She was a slim lady in her late thirties with a sweet voice, stormy blue eyes and light brown hair.

When Mr. Blue entered the room where she had responded, he found her laying on the bed, with her belly higher than usual by about 3 inches, her hair was messy, tangled and scattered on the pillow, her face was light shade of yellow, her nose was a dark shade of red due to the frosty weather, her face held small droplets of sweat and she was panting heavily.

"Marline, dear Marline. Franky is getting the medics and soon our baby will arrive" Mr. Blue tried to comfort.

"I don't think I'll survive" she confessed.

Marline got a strong immune deficiency right before her pregnancy which started to get huger and more disastrous during the pregnancy, resulting of a dangerous situation for both Marline and her baby.

Also, Mr Blue had a pit in his stomach telling him that that day was to hold death.

A huge knock went on the door.

"Dr. Steel. My wife... she is inside... save her" mr. Blues pleaded.

"I'll try Mr. Blue. Hopefully they both will get well" dr. Steel sighed rolling up His sleeves to start the labour.

Mr. Blue sat in front of a window looking at the rain.

"Will be there any luck in an unlucky day?" He sighed running his hands on his face.

"Have faith, monsieur. Have faith" Franky patted his shoulder gently before leaving the house and heading back to his nightshift.

After half an hour, mr. Blue heard a crying voice of a baby. He stood up with a glint of joy in his eyes. But as he entered the room, a The first ray of lightning stroke and with it, he saw his wife's face. White and cold.

.....

After sorrowful 6 months had passed with mr. Blue suffering all alone taking care of his baby girl. His sister, Gina Blue decided to stay with him and help him with the baby.

"Dear, she's beautiful!" Gina exclaimed lifting the baby in her arms lovingly.

Gina was also a chubby woman with a kind tongue and a friendly grin. She had brown eyes and light, brown hair.

"What is her name, brad?" She asked not raising her eyes from the baby.

The baby resembled her mother in everything. She had stormy blue eyes, light brown hair and soft face with a small cute nose.

"Sydney. Her name is Sydney"
