Author's POV

Seungcheol was sitting on the chair beside the lying and unconscious Raemi, as he averted his gaze from her, up to the sliding door right after he heard knocks.

"Yes?"

He answered, as the youthful female nurse came in with a patient's report in her embrace. They both stares at each other.

"Briefing time?"

"Yes, I'm afraid so, doctor,"

"You wait outside."

"Alright, doctor."

Seungcheol had planned to stay longer and take care of her since he had no work at night, but, unfortunately, he couldn't because he had to attend the sudden important briefing that was going to start very soon.

She smiled, and closed back the door. Seungcheol sighed as he sprang up from the chair and stares back at his unconscious sister.

"I love you, lil sis,"

"Please wake up soon,"

He gave a peck on her forehead, and walked out the vip room without even looking at her one last time as right after the door closed, her left fingers were slightly moving. She was half conscious from the moment he spoke up to the last sentence as she heard what'd he say.

Seungcheol...

She heard his footsteps were slowly fading away also the sound of the sliding door being opened and closed which causing her to stretch out a hand. She was hoping to reach for his white coat or something, but there was nothing there, only the cold breeze brushed against her fingers and later, she furrowed brows as she heard the heart monitor beside her.

Hospital?

Why am I here?

What's going on--

"AH!"

She was about to open her eyes when suddenly an extreme pain in her head attacked her again, making her winced.

Out of blue, her vision changed from black to sort of a vivid memory of her a year ago as she started to mumble in her sleeps.

"No,"

"Please..,"

"Don't start...,"

It was a memory that she loathe the most and she wished for the memory to be discarded away from her head because it'd made her developed an asthma and got traumatised.

She kept it as a secret as she wouldn't dare to speak a word about which memory that had caused her to be traumatised. Not even her brother know about this when she got interrogated by her own brother a year ago. This memory had always reminds her of her lost closest friend, which her friend lost at the same day as she first got an asthma attack, and it'd been recalling ever since at least once a month or more, especially when she stressed out, or after got attacked by asthma. Also, she had changed more to an austere and quiet person and had been spacing out often, as before, she was a merry person and laughed out loud a lot. The only thing that stayed the same was, she would always sighed as it had became a habit to her.
