From Nought To Sixty

Fourteen

So I started writing this story two and a half years ago, kept abandoning it and returning to it. It only really has two or three chapters left to go but I know that deep down I just don't have it in me to force the dialogue for those few chapters. It did however seem a shame to just discard the thirteen chapters I'd already written.

So I'm sorry to have sucked you all in to what you thought would be a properly finished story. But I hope you'll forgive me.

Here's what would have happened:

Penelope decides to amp things up another level and sets both Spencer and Y/N up on dates with other people. They decide to play along and go, thinking that they can come clean to their "dates" and then meet up with each other.

Y/N breaks it off with her date first, feeling initially a little guilty as he seemed friendly enough. The dude takes it in his stride and even drops her off at the restaurant where Spencer was meeting his date. She's earlier than she was expecting to be and when she enters, she spots Spencer sat next to a gorgeous girl, smiling and seemingly having a good time. Jealously takes over and she suddenly doubts everything. She leaves, walking back to the house and only taking one of Spencer's calls, telling him to have fun with his date because she'd seen them together.

What she'd actually walked in on was Spencer showing this girl photos of Y/N and gushing about how much he liked her but of course she doesn't know that.

Y/N starts packing her things up, yelling at Penelope to leave her alone and that this is all her fault. Garica gets upset and at this point it's only really Derek that doesn't know what's been going on. Spencer returns and see that Y/N is intending to leave. Everything comes out into the open, he tells her he loves her and they clear their misunderstanding up.

Penny and Y/N make up. Penelope realising she shouldn't have pushed her friend so much and knowing she was being childish.

The rest of the vacation is spent in bliss. Y/N moves into Spencer's room for the rest of their time there and Rossi gets to test his ear plugs out.
