chapter seven

Grayson's P.O.V
I wanted to say something to Maddie,but I just can't,right when i heard how she felt about me.. I knew I didn't feel that way for nothing.

I only got to hear the last part of what Maddie said to Jessica. I hope they didn't get into a fight..Maybe she just wanted to confess her feelings somehow?

The truth is I have always liked Maddie,but I never thought that she liked me back.

So I just tried to move on from it by dating Jessica. I do like Jessica,but I still couldn't get Maddie off my mind..

I walked back into the bowling alley and see Jessica on her phone.

I walk up to her and put both of my hands on her waist. I just wanted to act like nothing happened.

"Hey" I said in a stern low voice

She put her phone in her pocket and turned around facing me.

"Oh hey,where's Maddie?"

"I think she left I'm not sure though. She ran out the door so she probably got a ride home from her mom."

"thank god!" She mumbled under her breath

It all makes sense now.. Jessica was jealous. She knew that me and Maddie got along very well and she didn't like that at all. Wow. What a bitch. I can't believe I even liked her. No wonder why I heard yelling.

Maddie had to confess her feelings to end the fight probably that's why she was crying because she knew that I was dating Jessica.

"Wow I cant believe this. I thought that you could be friends with Maddie but then you treat her like that? SHE EMBARRASSED HERSELF BECAUSE OF YOU. you know what we're over.."

I threw my bowling shoes on the ground and started walking swiftly to the exit.

"What?? GRAYSON DON'T LEAVE ME!" I heard Jessica say in the background

"I LOVE YOU GRAYSON DONT DO THIS TO ME!"

I started running to my car and got the keys out of my pocket and went home.

A tear left my eye knowing how am I going to cope that Maddie will probably never talk to me again..
