Taehyung fumbled to his feet, running down the corridor with tears streaming from his puffy, red eyes. He passed by a few of the maids, many of them looking at him intrigued to know why the normally lazy boy was running.
Taehyung ran down the pristine stairs to the shoe closet, where he grabbed his dirty converse and shoved them on his feet before running out of the house. He didn't know where he was going, he didn't know where he could go. If he was late home, his father would send men to find him. His feet carried him a while before he collapsed to his knees in front of a familiar café. He stayed on the ground, the moonlit sky dragging the attention of the few customers onto him as they rushed to get the owner.
"Taehyung! Taehyung, what are you doing?" Came a strong voice from inside the café. The boy simply looked up, revealing his puffy face to the elder boy, who enclosed him in a tight hug.
"Come on Taehyungie, let's get you inside with a nice drink. Does that sound nice?" Seokjin spoke, his voice coming out soothing to the broken boy. The elder carefully helped the younger up, and helped him inside. Glaring at anyone who stared at the pair in a judgemental manner, Jin carefully led Taehyung to a small booth. The noise and talking from before filled the full diner once more.Taehyung sat down into one of the leather chairs by the window; which gathered a lot of attention from the customers who'd seen him outside. A young boy dashed over to him, clearly becoming visible as Jimin.
"TaeTae! What's wrong?" He asked, enclosing the crying boy into a tight hug.
"M-my dad...h-he tri-tried to.." The boy broke down crying again at the thought, breaking the hearts of Jimin and Jin.
"Shh, shh, tell me when you're ready. It'll get better, Taetae" Jimin sighed in sadness of not being able to help him.
"Now," Jin spoke softly, placing a steaming cup of coffee onto the table and sliding into the booth as well, "Do you want to stay with one of us?" Taehyung looked up, his eyes were pufffy and dry from all the crying, yet they had glossed over once more due to the kindness of his friends.
"I-I'd be a-annoying for you guys," Taehyung mumbled, his eyes averting to the people in the cafe who were staring at him. Taehyung stared over at the table from earlier, BTS' table. His eyes quickly made eye contact with a familiar doe pair, causing him to look away in embarrassment of being caught looking.Taehyung sighed once more, staring down into his little coffee cup and stirring it sadly.
"Look, Taehyung, you're never normally this upset. We need our happy TaeTae back," Jin spoke, rubbing his thumb over his hands.
"Just...Just give me time," Taehyung said, once more staring into his glass in dejection.———
