With lips, our words we speak.
With hands, these words we make,
Out our mouths, they seem to leak,
Spilling blood, as if a snake.
These sounds that we share,
Made to catch people, upon our snare,
Still, love, we say we always want,
Yet hate, is all we flaunt,
lo, words aren't all hate and loss,
There are love and hope in works of art,
Let the pen color nights sky,
And our paper clean the earth,
Alone we are a debtor,
But together, we break hates fetter.
For some words are a loss,
Just rocks, growing moss,
For others, words are more,
They're something to explore,
To give us hope for,
They are the cover of our book of life.
Words are new and old,
good and bad,
They can be either rich or poor,
For some they make us go mad,
For others its just a forgotten door,
But for those who love words,
There All, we adore.
Yes, words represent our emotions,
To heal with a tear,
Or to harm with no fear,
Used on all sides,
they are universal,
For educations dispersal.
Words, are my notion,
Knowleges ocean,
They are the waters in which we sail,
Filled with all creatures
Even ones beyond the veil,
Water, words teacher,
Showing us how to reach her.
But that water on which we sail,
The salt in which we taste,
It can never be traversal,
For those who try, go to waste,
Oceans water, mans emotions
The salt, woman's thoughts,
the creatures are actions,
To cross it is to race gunshots.
Never too low, never too high,
Together words fly,
You see words, are confusing,
Always oozing,
They mean so much,
Yet some, we can never touch,
Yes, I know you don't understand,
So just, lend me your hand,
These waters we cannot swim,
We cannot sail.
Language preachers trims,
Trim words of detail,
Because when you cut it all down,
To just a noun,
They're just words,
meant to be forgotten,
They will never remember,
Neither will you,
It'll just be an ember,
A miscue,
So be happy,
Not snappy,
Words are twisted,
But so are we.
Lo Forever, tongue persisted,
And here it is, queen bee.
There's a lot we don't know,
Words are crazy!
So Your path may be slow,
And maybe you're lazy,
But one day, one day you will be free,
I promise. Free as can be!
See, words are twisted,
And so lovers enlisted,
To watch and to pray,
To keep discomfort at bay,
For while words are like this,
Emotions are clear,
So not a moment will I miss,
While I watch you, my dear,
For you speak in emotion, not words,
And for that, you will soar above the birds.
