I was in Daniel's living room when I smelt something burnt coming from the kitchen. I run to the kitchen to see Daniel dropping a burnt bag of popcorn and cussing under his breath.
"This is what happens when I let you do one simple task." I say.
Daniel looked over at me and smiled, "Well, it's your fault you let me do this."
"You told me you had it under control."
"I did, until I realized why it was taking so long."
"Why was that?" I laugh.
"Because I put a 0 after the 3 when I put in the time."
"How did you even cook for yourself when I was in Connecticut?"
"I bought take out and made the boys cook my food. Duh."
I helped him pick up the burnt popcorn. Well, he just helped by eating the ones that weren't burnt off the floor.
Once Daniel didn't find any non-burnt popcorn, he stood up and walked somewhere in the kitchen.
"I missed that ass of yours." Daniel said winking while biting into a piece of apple.
"Thanks." I said smirking while walking over to the trash can to put the burnt popcorn in then walking over to Daniel and putting my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him, so that our bodies were touching. Our foreheads were touching and I was looking up at his eyes. Despite how short he was, I managed to be shorter than him.
"I missed you so much, Anastasia." He said.
"I missed you too." I replied.
He leaned in and his lips were touching mine. It was long and passionate. I've missed his lips so much. Afterwards, I put my head on his shoulders. He put his head on mine.
We started swaying around in silence until we heard someone run into the kitchen.
"Oh fuck, the lovebirds are at it again. This time they're slow dancing." Luke said yelling to the other boys.
They all came into the kitchen all dressed out to go out somewhere.
"What are you talki-" Jai said walking in. He saw me and stopped in mid-sentence. "ANASTASIA!" He said yelling while running over to me and hugged me while swinging me around.
"No one fucking told me when you were coming." He said looking at the boys.
"I told Luke to tell all of you." Daniel replied.
"Whoops." Luke said while grabbing something from the fridge. The door bell rung.
"Be right back, Anastasia. I got to go get the door. I'll be back to give you your hug." Beau said while walking away.
James walked over to me and gave me a hug, "I've missed you so much, girly."
I replied while smiling, "I missed you too, James."
Jai asked out loud, "Why does it smell like burnt popcorn?"
Daniel and I looked at each other laughing.

We started talking for a bit and got a quick glimpse of Beau walking in with a girl who he was covering her eyes.
That was before Daniel covered my eyes up.
"We have a surprise for you, babe." Daniel whispered in my ear.
"Ok." I whispered back giggling.
I heard heels click on the hard floor and stop somewhere in front of me.
"What are you doing, babe?" I hear a familiar voice say.
Wait, Beau has a girlfriend? I thought for a second until I heard someone speak.
"On the count of 3?" I heard Beau say.
I could feel Daniel nod.
All the boys counted, "1...2...3!"
They uncovered our eyes and I couldn't believe it.
