I grab my shoes off of the floor and began putting them on. Once I have them on I walk over to the tall mirror and look at my appearance.
"Don't worry, you look great. Your parents must of really had some good genes." Willa says before moving my hair to the side. Maybe she's into girls? Maybe I should tell her I'm straight? Or maybe it's just a compliment? "I think I might actually know someone that you should get to know." she smirks
"I'm straight!" I blurt out leading her to stare at me with her jaw practically on the floor.
"Not that there's anything wrong with being into girls because I'm not homophobic and there's currently nothing wrong with you, I mean you're hot I just-"
She stops me with her laughing "my boyfriend will be glad to know that." I feel my cheeks burning up from the embarrassment.
"You aren't gonna tell him I think you're hot, right? I-I don't think he'd like that very much." I give an awkward smile.
"No, that can stay between us." She laughs. "Let's get going now?" I nod and walk out with Willa.
We've been walking down a sidewalk for at least ten minutes now so I get a bit concerned "Willa, do you know where it's at?"
"Of course I do, you see that?" she points over to a glare from a fire in the night sky.
"Oh." I continue walking until we finally reach some people. I look over at Willa who's searching the crowd.
"There she is!" Willa says quite loudly and we both start walking over to a short brunette.
The brunette smiles at Willa and then looks over to me as her smile fades "who is this?" She looks back at Willa. "Alexa, this is my roommate." Willa stops and looks at me so I can introduce myself.
"I'm Remi." I look from Willa and to Alexa.
"Like Remy from Ratatouille?" She laughs.
I already don't like this Alexa girl, she seems like a bitch. I can already tell we won't be getting alone. I look back to Willa and give her a desperate look for her to saying anything so I wouldn't.
"That's enough now." Willa speaks and then looks at Alexa and back to me. "Alexa's my best friend, she may be incredibly annoying at times and not the nicest but she really is the best."
From that I can tell they really have a strong bond so if I hang out with Willa more often I'll just have to get use to the fact that Alexa will be around.
Alexa playfully pushes Willa's shoulder at her comment "where's the others?" Willa asks. Others? Surely they have better personalities.
"They left not too long before you got here, they said they had things to do before the party tomorrow night."
Willa turns her head from Alexa and to me "speaking of that, you can meet them there. I'm sure they'll be delighted to meet you." She smiles. I doubt it.
"Is that an invitation?" I ask. I'm kinda hoping it is but there's another part of me that's hoping it isn't.
"Obviously." Alexa states. "Just maybe dress differently and they'll like you. You dress like a prude. Show some skin." She smiles. "I'm gonna go get a drink and then go back to my apartment, I'll speak to you later Wills." She hugs Willa and walks off.
"Don't listen to her, she's giving you the wrong advice beside there's nothing wrong with the way you dress." She smiles. "You wanna go back to the dorm now? There's really no one I know and besides we need our rest for party tomorrow night. This Saturday party really kicks off the year, especially for me." It'll be even later than I thought until we get back so I nod and head back to the dorms with Willa.
