*Violets POV*

*A month later*

It's been a month with Alex and it's been great so far. At our school there is a dance next week, the winter ball. I'm really excited for it, hoping that Alex will ask me out. I get in the shower and curl my hair, hoping today is the day he asks me to the dance. After getting ready i head downstairs, and sit at the table for breakfast. Alex finally comes down for breakfast. We all eat and talk and that's when alex takes my hand to head to school. We were at our lockers when some of alex's friends came over. 

"Hey Violet." Say Ty.

I just smile. After standing there awkward, the bell rings. Alex kisses me bye and i head to first period. There was nothing special today and i was feeling like alex wasn't going to ask me to the dance.

*Lunch*

I sat at our usually table with all alex's friends and alex sat next to me. And that's when alex stood on the table. I was so shocked and confused. 

"YO!" He yelled.

The cafeteria got silent. He looks at me and smiles. 

"I have to ask my beautiful girlfriend a question." He says.

"WILL YOU GO TO THE DANCE WITH ME?" Alex shouts. 

I smile and nodded my head.

"Of course." I say.

He gets off the table and picks me up. I hug him really tight. We go back to eating and then lunch ends. 

*After school*

We were walking home, hand in hand. When we saw cop cars outside his house.
