Raspy Screams

*Dan's POV*

I was working on one of the weapons we were building for the battle that would soon be upon us. "Trayaurus do you think we can pull this off?" I said in a worried tone as I turned slightly to look at the aloof scientist "I mean haven't we been through worse?" he said not turning away from his work "yes but this is different, there is a whole world of hybrids whose lives are at steak in this!" I said as I fully turned around to see him entirely "Dan calm down we can do this we have the upper hand Target doesn't know what were doing nor planning to do" he said while giving me a stern professional look someone might see on a high powered business man "Bu-" I was cut off by him putting his hand on my shoulder "Dan for the love of god just take a deep breath and calm down" he said with an annoyed expression. I sighed then took a deep breath "ok fine look I'm just worried becua-" I was cut off yet again by the emotionally unavailable scientist "Because your dating Stampy now I get it" he said while getting back to work on the gun he was making "we have two more days to get this done that's enough time for me to create some armor and weapons that suite the abilities of the hybrids" he said calmly with his constant emotionless expression "ok I get it you can build things to help us but that doesn't make me any less worried" I said while crossing my arms and huffing "Stop being a baby Dan and come help me with this" he said while messing with the wiring in the gun. After a few minuets we were doing fine until we heard a high pitched scream. "oh god what now?" Trayaurus said with agitation lacing his voice "lets just go" I said while jumping over the working table and running toward the scream. I ran over to the entrance of the village where I saw a huge amount of skeletons or monster people I'm not even sure what they were but they all had red and gold armor. At the front of them all was none other then Hit The Target himself on a skeleton horse "What is he doing here we have two more days!" I thought I couldn't help the scared expression. Lee and Squid were there weapon in hand ready to kill, I ran over to Stampy who was next to them "What's going on Stamps?" I said while pulling him to my chest protectively "I'm not sure but Target and the white pumpkin are here and I'm not sure what to do!" he said while shaking a bit in fear. I was about to say something else when Squid yelled "HEY WHATS THE BIG IDEA WE HAVE TWO MORE DAYS!!!" he yelled angrily "oh I just thought I would cut our little deal short" he said while fiddling with the fingers of his gauntlet "what do you mean?" Lee said clutching his sword tightly "what I mean is I'm here early to pick up my little prize~" he hissed while flashing his crazy grin "Oh hell no! you ain't laying one greasy finger on his head!" I growled while pulling Stampy closer to my chest to where his head was pressed up against it "oh I do believe you don't have a choice in the matter, I mean your unprepared and your weapons aren't finished plus you haven't finished building your defense am I correct?" He said with a snide smirk plastered to his face "How do you know about that?!" Lee yelled as he backed up a bit to stand directly in front of me and Stampy "Oh I cant tell you everything bear boy but I will tell you that I have a little something special for you hybrids" he said while pulling a strange green metal ball "what is that?" I said not loosing my angry expression "Oh just a little....gas" he said while throwing the metal ball into at us. "what the-" was all I could say before the metal ball exploded and a bright green gas poured out rapidly. About a second later nothing was really happened until I heard both Lee, Squid and Stampy start rapidly coughing. "Stamps?! Guys!?!" I yelped trying to keep Stampy from falling down "w-what's going o-on?" Stampy said while falling to his knees coughing "My l-lungs f-feel like t-their on f-fire!" Squid yelled in a raspy voice before falling over and passing out "Lee what's going on!?" I yelled turning to Lee only to see him passed out on the ground "D-Dan please h-help" Stampy said as his eyes were starting to close. I got on my knees holding Stampy close to my own body "Stampy! Stampy! you have to stay awake!!!" I said as I was about to pick him up until. I felt metal collide with the back of my head. Before I drifted into uncouinsousness I saw Lee, Squid and Stampy's bodies being dragged away.
