Epilogue
“Come on Aaron you can do this” I say to my self “she’s not just another girl, she’s different. Maybe she will say yes but she’s with all of her friends she wouldn’t leave them alone if her life depended on it.” I got so caught up in my own thoughts I didn’t even realize her walking over to me, her beautiful blond hair blew in the breeze and I began to get butterfly’s in my stomach, this couldn’t be happening, one of the most beautiful girls in my school is walking, To me! “Hi Aaron” I can’t believe it, why would she be talking to me out of all people me! “Look, my friend heard through a little bird that you kind of like me” I couldn’t believe it who would have told her. I was speechless I just nod slowly, then she turns to her friends then back to me, she was laughing I look around to see who else saw this as I look I see all the jocks, nerds, girls, guys, anybody and everyone saw they were all pointing and laughing, I was humiliated Emma looks at me and says “I wouldn’t date you if you were the last man on earth” this was so awkward, I was almost in tears I did what the only thing I could do, I left. The bell goes as I head over to my locker I hear kids talking about what just happened, for the next couple days people kept talking about it, I sat by myself for all my lessons, on the bus and I walked home by myself, all because I liked a girl.
