PLAYERS POV

I am awake. Strange. As I never slept. I look at the countless televisions, then look at my buttons. I can play with them, edit them away. Put them back together. I've been in this Menu for a long time. Sometimes I'm visited by a skeleton called Ink. He's nice enough. I don't really see a point to him bugging me though. He's scared of me though. Probably because of the ERASE button. I have all sorts of powers, all sorts of abilities. I can edit the world around me. I could attempt to create someone else to fill the void here. But I don't really want to play around with life.

Suddenly, there is a disturbance in the Void. It's Sans. Classic Sans. That's surprising.

He stands up, "Huh, where am I?!"

"Your in my home. Hello Sans." - Player

Sans looks at me. "You look like your half dead."

"You look like you are dead. So what are you doing here Sans." - Player

"You tell me." - Sans

"I didn't bring you here." - Player

Sans goes silent, then looks around. Seeing the countless screens.  "What is this place. What are these screens."

"My home, those are universes." - Player

Sans goes blank. Surprised by my answer. "Universes?"

"Yep, alternate realities, each one different. Each one representing a different alternate universe. They are mostly focused on the Underground. As it is more interesting than the surface in some of them." -Player

"That's mine..." - Sans

I see him looking at the screen of Undertale#40. One of the subverses of the main timeline.

"Yeah, guess it is. Do you want to go back?" - Player

"I would, but can you tell me? Why your here?" - Sans

"Don't know. Been here as long as I can remember." - Player

"Despite there being many screens... this place seems kind of empty. Where are the others?"- Sans

"There are no 'others' in this world. Just me." - Player

"I was looking to bring someone back... I guess I won't find him here." - Sans

"Ah, Gaster?" - Player

"Hmm? You know him?" - Sans

"Yeah. See mentions of him throughout most of the timelines. I'm guessing you were trying to connect to the void and ended up here right?"

"Well, yeah." - Sans

"That's quite dangerous Sans, the Void isn't something people can mess with." - Player

"But you can mess with it." - Sans

"Your point?" - Player

"I want you to bring Gaster back." - Sans

"Your joking. You want me to edit your reality and bring back Gaster?" - Player

"Yes." - Sans

"Well, I'm not going to say no."- Player

Sans is surprised by how easily Player agreed with him. "You agreed rather quickly?"

"There is nothing to do here. Well, except watch other progress with their lives" - Player

Player grabs Sans, then teleports to his universe. Player unlike other entities, doesn't have to open a portal to travel worlds. He can do it instantly.

After appearing above Snowdin, Player teleports with Sans to the Void.

"Sans hold on to me. If you leave my sphere of influence. You will scatter through the void. Forgotten." - Player then raises one hand and began to mess with the code. Slowly tracking the bits and pieces of Gaster, then putting them together. After what seemed like hours, Gaster had been formed. His soul was healed by Player. The Player then teleported Gaster, and Sans to the lab under their house.

"I'll be watching Sans. Goodbye." - Player

Player teleports home, leaving Sans and Gaster alone.

Player opens Undertale#40 and seperate it from the main timeline. "That's going to irritate Ink.", Player then renames Undertale#40 to ChanceTale.

Then Player puts ChanceTale to the side, forming a new AU.

Then Ink appears.

"Did you erase a world!?!" - Ink!Sans

"No, I just moved it. It's right here." Player says as they gesture to the screen.

Ink sighs in relief as he looks at the world. "ChanceTale?" - Ink!Sans

"Sans came and asked me revive Gaster. So I did. Since it was a new variable I separated that timeline from the main timeline and had it form a Alternate Universe. I wasn't sure what was going to change about that world, so I just called it ChanceTale." - Player

"Oh... Wait you can separate timelines to create new worlds?" - Ink!Sans

"Yeah, but only if they have a different variable than the original, or the universe they are from. For example Swapfell and Underfell. It's a way of preserving timelines that don't fit in with original. Anyways, get the heck out." - Player

"Wait what." - Ink!Sans

*Player picks Ink up

*Player throws Ink back into his home dimension

"GET OUT!" - Player

*Player summons a couch and popcorn as he sits down to watch ChanceTale.
