The First Snow

"Aaaaaah nope! I give up!! You'll have fo carry me!!"
Yoongi was huffing and puffing his words out behind you, as you were both climbing your way up to the top of the hill that was in the middle of the forest.
He stopped with his hands resting on his hips and when you noticed that he wasn't walking behind you anymore, you stopped as well and turned around.

You found yourself looking into a pair of forced puppy eyes with an over exaggerated pout on Yoongi's lips. You let out a long sigh, throwing your head back and slightly chuckled when you saw that he still had the excessive expression on his face.
"Na-ah-ah honey. It's should be the other way around! You should be carrying me!!"

He let out an overdramatic groan and continued with walking after he stomped on the ground a few times, whining like a little toddler who was told that he wasn't allowed to eat a lollipop. He walked past you and you covered your mouth with your hand, hiding a amused giggle that left your lips.

You fastened your pace so you could catch up with him. When you were almost next to him and you  wanted to link your arm with his, he suddenly turned around and lifted you up. Before you could realize what actually happened, he was carrying you, bridal style, and stared deep into your eyes.

You were so overwhelmed by all of his actions that you didn't say a word and just stared back at him. He continued walking and a little smile grew on your lips. You tangled your arms around his neck and laid your head on his shoulder. You saw his infamous gummy smile appear on his face. And as you were looking at his angelic features surrounding his beautiful smile, you felt that your own smile even widened.

You were almost at the top by now and you lifted your head from Yoongi's shoulder, trying to catch a glimpse of the appearing view. You could feel the excitement grow in your body with every step he took. When you were finally at the top, Yoongi carefully put you down.

Meanwhile your eyes were glued on the beautiful sight of the colorful trees that filled the forest, on the little lake in front of a line of trees, that reflected the mesmerizing color pallet that contrasted so perfect with the cold grey sky that completed the picture. The tip of the majestic mountain, that rose from behind the red and orange foliage, was surrounded by the grey clouds that were floating in the sky

While you were just hypnotized by the utter perfection of nature, you felt Yoongi's arm sneak around your neck, capturing you in his embrace.
"It's so beautiful.." you whispered.
"Not as beautiful as you sweetheart"
"Aye cheesyyy" you joked.
"No I mean it y/n!!"
And with those words he turned you around so you were now facing him. He briefly rested his hands on your shoulders but quickly slid them down to your waist, pulling your small frame closer to him.

As he pulled you closer you accidentally hit your head on his chest, because all of it happened so sudden and fast. You casually rested you head on his chest, wrapping your own arms around his waist. You could hear him chuckle and one of his hands left your waist to pat your head instead. He gently ran the tips of his fingers through your hair, while whispering some, almost inaudible, 'i love you's.

You felt your blood rushing to your cheeks again, the butterflies in your stomach flying as fast as the speed of light. You carefully dug the tips of your fingers in his coat and slightly pushed your body closer to his as a reaction to his lovely words.

A muffled 'I love you too' left your lips and you felt a gentle kiss being placed on your hair. Yoongi then lifted your chin up so you could face him.
"Thank you for being the most beautiful and precious human being that I've ever seen y/n.."
And with that he leaned in and connected your lips with his.

The kiss was lovely and full of passion. The soft touch of his lips on yours gave you a euphoric feeling inside of you and you wanted it to last forever. But unfortunately you had to pull away. He tenderly cupped your cheek with his warm hand and his eyes were focused on you and only you.

You stared back at him and wanted to say something, but at that moment a tiny, delicate snowflake fell down in front of you. Your eyes slightly widened and you looked around you to make sure that what you were thinking was true. And it was. Tiny, white snowflakes were falling down from the sky and formed a thin layer of snow on the ground. You stuck your hand out and a few snowflakes landed on your hand.

"Yoongi..it's the first snow...it's so beautiful.."
He looked up at the sky and then focused his eyes on you again.
"I know honey.."
He stuck his hand with the glove out as well and a few, now thicker, snowflakes stuck to the fabric without melting instantly.
"See these snowflakes, baby?"
You looked at the snowflakes and then back at him.
"...they're falling for you, just like me."
