Long Lost

What she sees

   "Fire! Fire! Run, get help!" someone screamed in dessprate terror as smoke filled the air and orange flames licked the side of the deck.
      "Get to the lifeboats!" someone screamed as my mom starts to run with me in her arms.
        "Mom, what about Dad?" I screamed over the chaos but she continues to run. She lifted me gently over the side of the lifeboat, handed me her neackles, a gold key, that she never leaves a room without, and said" keep this safe I'm going to find your father I love you." she looks at me for a split second before running off to our cabin.
         They lower the lifeboats down and start to move away from the ship but,thankfully, they stayed and watched.
          "Mom! Dad!" I screamed out as I saw them on what was left of the wreakege. I cried out despertly but theirs only so much a 15 year old can do.
            Dad lay unconscious at moms feet and her dark red hair framed her face. Her ice blue eyes looked to me and for a moment they seemed to glow yellow.
             But it was gone as the smoke started to cover her and the fire raged just a few feet away from her.
                I opended my eyes to see my worried friends starring down at me.
