Well I might as well start from the beginning, of this wonderful life story, here I go.
Hello, my name is Sydney Kinkade, and I am the younger daughter to Linda and Frank Kinkade. I have one older sister, named Autmn whom I share almost everything with. Autmn is 5 years older than I am, but has turned out to be a very supportive older sister, most of the time....... Anyway, now that I have my introduction out of the way let's get on with it.
When my life actually became interesting was when I was 14. Autmn was already in college and I was still being homeschooled. The problem was, my mom had started working side jobs and had quit staying home with me, while my father continued to work as a mechanic at his job of 25 years. One day, as my mother was helping out in my church office, she received a phone call from the secretary at my dad's job. (Now something I should mention is that this was a small family owned company. Only a few people worked there.) anyway, mom had received a call from the secretary concerning my father, not only had dad seemed to be doing some things that had become increasingly concerning, but he had gotten to the point where he couldn't complete the tasks that his job required. Upon hearing what had been happening at work, mom called and made an appointment with our family Doctor for the next day.
The next morning, mom and dad left for dad's appointment I was at home alone. Slowly the time was ticking by past dad's scheduled appointment 1 hour, then 2,3,4, and 5 hours had gone by all the while my mother wasn't responding to my calls or texts. It became apparent that Autmn had in fact been informed of our father's diagnosis, which was Alzheimer's disease. A week after dad's diagnosis he was laid off work, now let's get on to the story.
