Hi guys, so I literally just started writing this story because I thought 'Well I know almost everything about RWBY so I might as well write a story on it!' So here it is!
This story begins during the Vytal Festival/Tournament (Obviously). You can tell by the title.
I hope you guys enjoy it! Anyways, I'll stop talking now and actually let you read the story, enjoy!

"I'M TRYING TO CONCENTRATE YA'KNOW!" A loud, booming voice was heard as a certain panther faunus was sitting at a desk, mechanical pencil in hand, sketchbook laying on the desk with a small circle at the top and a body layout of a woman.
Eclipse was glaring at her teammate, Mercury, which she only does when he's being overly annoying. The team just call him Sean since he doesn't like getting mixed up with Mercury Black from the Atlas Academy.
Sean pouts playfully as he crosses his arms. "I know that! But still, I gotta know!" The wolf faunus protests, acting like a child.
Eclipse let's out a sigh. Don't get the wrong idea, she acts like a child too, but at least a little more mature. "How the hell am I supposed to know if Ozpin's a virgin?" She says with a raised eyebrow. The male wolf faunus beside her shrugs. "I thought you knew, sorry, hothead." He attempted to tease.
Eclipse looked into Sean's amber and gray, multi-colored, eyes. A small smirk tugged at her mouth as she said, "I'm flattered you think that way, little wolf." That was her nickname for him.
Yes, the two faunus came up with nicknames for eachother. No, they're not together or anything, they're just good friends who tease eachother a lot. Stop thinking the wrong way, ya donk.
"Guys, can you keep it down? I'm trying to listen to what these people are saying." A slightly softer voice spoke from the window as the dark purple haired bird faunus spoke to her teammates.
Eclipse looked over at Pandora, noticing the wings of purple feathers that were hiding underneath a black cloak she wore. "What're you even looking at, Lav?" The panther faunus got up and made her way over to her, her crimson eyes looking through the glass window. Pandora's dark brown eyes, almost completely black, looked up at Eclipse before back down at rhe scene occuring in the front of the school.
As Eclipse tilted her head ever so slightly, one of her pierced black panther ears perked up, the other going down.
The two girls were staring at a man and a woman, one with a weapon out, and the other running a hand through his hair, pulling back the strands that lingered over his forehead. The man had the same shade of crimson eyes that Eclipse had, the same messy hair the she had. But what was most of all weird was that he seemed familiar...
"Oh look, it's that Ice Queen's sister. She looks serious..... Boring. Who'd have her as a role model?" Eclipse thinks outloud.
"Apparently Weiss does. I can see Ice Queen looking up to that Snow Yeti." Pandora jokes which ends up in both the girls cracking up.
"I bet my money on the old man there. Seems more exciting than Snow White over there." Eclipse jokes, resting her chin in the palm of her hand as her elbow presses into the window sill.
"I wonder if Winter actually thinks she's gonna win this. I mean, no offense, but that guy seems pretty aged. And that means that he's been a hunter for a LONG time, that or he's just a drunk guy who thinks he can fight a Huntress with a sword...." Pandora says, resting her head on her arms.
Eclipse simply shrugged her shoulders. Finally, the right started.
Winter made the first move, attempting the stab his face with her sword. The man simply dodged and teasingly bowed, allowing Winter to bring down her sword onto his back, only to hit something metallic with a 'clank'.
The man pulled out a huge sword, bigger than Winters.
"Oooh! This is getting interesting, ya'know!" Eclipse said getting a little excited. Pandora squinted her eyes at the man, analyzing his movements during the combat and his appearance. "Damn, Pandora. I never knew you were into those type of guys." Eclipse teased, noticing her bird friend staring at the man.
Pandora simply ignored her friends comment, waiting a few moments longer before finally speaking up, "You know, that man, he kinda reminds me of you, E."
Eclipse's panther ears perked up and she looked at her bird faunus friend in disbelief. "You're kidding. How is he similar to me?"
"Well, first off, your fighting style. It's pretty similar if you look closely, although you do weild a double bladed scythe," Pandora started, putting her pointer finger on the opposite pointer finger, marking it off as 1.
"You both have almost the same voice, if you were a girl version of him," She continued, putting her pointer on her middle finger. "You're messy hair with that one gray streak on the side, and those eyes..." Pandora trailed off, looking into Eclipse's crimson eyes. "Both filled with mischief and other mixed emotions." Pandora looked back down at the scene.
The more Eclipse thought about it, the more she questioned. 'Who is this guy? Why is he so familiar? Do I know him from somewhere? Was it just a coincidence that we're so alike? Have we met before?'
Eclipse's mind flooded with questions, and soon, before she knew it, General James Ironwood, Glynda Goodwitch, and Professor Ozpin had stepped into the hole in the crowd, stopping the fight.
Pandora turned away and sat down in her bed, putting in some earbuds and listening to music while playing on her scroll.
Eclipse watched as the man walked into the building, she turned away for a few seconds to see that Sean was scribbling on her sketchbook. "YOU LITTLE SHIT! GET AWAY FROM THAT!!"
Eclipse looked back through the window to see the man leave her sight..
But not before he stopped, looked up, and stared at her for a good five seconds....
