I walked back to the jet with my head held low to the ground. My ankle was swollen and tender, so I had to lean on my best friend, Kitty Pryde.

Our clothes were burnt and torn. We had scratches and burns across our body. Some of our bones were broken or cracked. Kitty had a twisted arm and three cracked ribs. I had a broken arm, sprained ankle and two cracked ribs and maybe one broken one, but it was hard to tell. A part of my back near my shoulder had a deep gash wound. I could still feel the blood dry to my skin and what was left of my clothes.

I sure you're wondering what the hell happened to us? Well it will help if I explain about us.

We're mutants and we are apart of the X-Men. That kind of explains it really. But my powers are that I can change into every cat there ever is or ever was. I have their scent of smell, hearing, and sight, also their speed and strength. But when I was also trained for the better part of nine years of my life by the Felidaes, an elite assassin group that protects people from those who threaten to kill. We kill no one unless it comes to where we have to. We are trained in all methods of fighting in every sense that we have. We are trained in weapon known to man and many know to cat.

My mom, aunt, cousins, and other members from before us have fought in this clan. Even my younger sister is training with my mother.

But enough about me, my friend, Kitty, had the normal childhood I wish I had. She didn't move to Japan or England (where the only two dojos live) and train from the moment she turned three. Her powers are that she is able to phase through solid objects and short out electrical items; it's really cool to see. But her powers didn't come in until she was 15 as mine came in when I was 12, but I didn't go to the mansion until I was 14.

Anyway, now we're 16 and were just about to enter our junior year in high school when this whole mess started.

We were on a mission in the savage land, trying to stop a man known as Minster Sinister. I forget why we had to stop him; I don't think I was listening to that part in the debriefing. I was a little busy flying the Blackbird.

While we were fighting his team of followers, names I didn't pay attention to, he got away and had set the place to explode. Kitty and I were great with computers and were the two smartest people on the team (okay in age way) but we were too late when it exploded. We were barely made it out of the rumble, but not before the others. We were still the building when it collapsed and Sinister was still there.

We didn't come out when he left and blood came out of where we laid. He was gone when I pushed through the rumble as Kitty phased through. Kurt came over and helped us out. Our missions suits were ripped and my sword had ripped off my back. I picked it up and dusted the case off before checking to see if the blade broke.

Thankfully, it was in perfect shape.

So this is where I started my little story. We sat in the Blackbird and Beast had wrapped my wound.

"There you are Ms. Fields," Mr. McCoy said as he pressed on the wrap. "You two should consider yourself lucky that nothing worst then a few cuts and bursies."

"But we have more then a few cuts though," I said, trying to hide the tears of my pain.

"True, but things have turned out a lot worst," he said again.

"I fear they may have already," The Professor said.

"What do you mean, Professor," Kitty asked.

"Sinister won't stop looking for us," said dear Thomas, an elite X-Men who kind of came back from the dead. "He knows where we live and won't stop until he kills us." He and Scarlett were piloting as Kitty and I were getting medical attention.
