The group were all hanging out at Xander's house for lunch. Finn was helping the Legendary Wrestler in cooking his delicious steak while the others; Lexi, Josh and Alex were all in competitive mode in Mortal Kombat X at the game room.
Finn: man, they're really loud
Xander: it's the game's intense competition, uncle
(At the game room)
Alex and Josh were tearing each other apart in Mortal Kombat X as they were playing with the two legendary characters who were well known for their story and intense rivalry, the undead ninja of the Shirai Ryu, Scorpion and the frozen ninja of the rival Lin Kuei clan, Sub-Zero. Lexi was sitting and watching the intense fight as she was cheering for Alex.
Alex: not this time!
Alex was able to perform Scorpion's signature "Get over here!" rope dart move and performed an X-ray combo.
Josh: oh, you really gotta get it now, mate
Josh fired back by performing Sub-Zero's signature ice projectile, freezing Scorpion in his tracks. He then performed a combo that nearly drained Scorpion's health. The round was getting intense as both characters' healthbars are in critical mode.
Lexi: come on Alex!
Alex: I'm ending you, Sub-Zero!
Josh: I like to see you try, mate
Alex and Josh were avoiding and blocking each other's attacks while the clock ticks down at 40 seconds.
Alex: come on Scorpion!
Josh: you got this, Sub-Zero!
As the clock counts down to 30 seconds, Alex and Josh blocked each other's move, but Alex landed a leg sweep leaving Sub-Zero wide open for Scorpion to capitalize.
Alex: you're dead, boy
Alex landed Scorpion's infinite combo, and then the game announcer said:
Announcer: finish him!
Alex tapped the button combination and performed Scorpion's famous "Toasty!" fatality ending the fight and giving Alex the victory.

Alex: oh Scorpion, you never disappoint me and you always be a part of my childhood heart
Josh: nice game, mate
The two shook hands for sportsmanship
Lexi: I knew you will win!
Lexi jumped and hugged Alex tightly with her arms wrapped around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist. This caught Alex off guard as he gave a confused look. Even Josh was confused as well.
Alex: uh, thanks for cheering for me
Lexi was still hugging Alex tight as she wants it to last long.
