Jeongguk wandered through the lone paths of the Kingdom of Altair, slowly making his way further away from the handsome castle that stood proudly in the centre of the Kingdom. Jeongguk had always preferred the small streets that are closer to the border, he liked the quietness of it, and he also found the people down here to be a lot nicer than those that lived nearer the centre of Altair.

Jeongguk tugged at the sleeve of the of the pastel blue shirt he was wearing, suddenly feeling the strong wave of heat emitting from across the border. "Ggukie! Hey! Wait up!" A faint voice called out from behind the small boy. Jeongguk stopped walking and turned in the direction the voice called from. Running down the path was a tall man, his arms were flailing around making it seem as if he would fall off the small dirt path. The mans pitch black hair was bouncing on top his head, messing up whatever neat hairstyle he had decided to put it in earlier - the only part of his hair that seemed to be perfectly intact was the handful of hair that was being restrained by a little sparkling moon hair clip.

jeongguk threw his head back, letting out a loud laugh as he watched the man, his small white tiara slipping through strands of his hair and landing on a patch of grass next to him. "Hey you brat! Don't laugh!" The male said, finally reaching the little prince - he had picked up the white tiara and started dusting it off.

"It's not my fault you run like a giraffe, Jin," Jeongguk laughed, and linked his arm with male - now know as seokjin - who rolled his eyes and placed the tiara back onto the smaller boys head.

"Its not easy to run from the castle to here ggukie! Your mother made Yoongi follow you but he had 'his duties' so I had to go after you. Why are you this far out anyways?" Seokjin said. Jeongguk bit his lip, he knew perfectly well if he were to tell seokjin the truth he'd flip, but he also knew telling him a lie would also make him flip.

Jeongguk sighed and decided to face him head on and tell him the truth, "I was trying to see if there were any sun people hanging around the border..." The young boy held his breath just waiting for his friend to starting shouting and drag him back home. Instead he received the exact opposite.

"Cool! Have you managed to see any yet?! I've always wanted to see a monster in person," Seokjin said, "The books don't seem too realistic if you ask me."

"Jinnie, sun people are not monsters! Those books are just made up so we can continue this war with them!" Jeongguk snapped. Seokjin looked at him as if he knew he was going to say that - which he did as this isn't the first time they've had a conversation like this one.

"Jeongguk your mother has seen them, you have to believe her. She'd never lie to you ggukie, you know that," Seokjin's voice became softer, jeongguk looked at him and gave a slight nod. seokjin smiled, knowing he was able to get his point across to him without it turning into one of their petty arguments.

The two best friends continued walking down the dirt path, the temperature was increasing drastically, Seokjin was fanning himself with his hand, and jeongguk was once again tugging at his sleeve - feeling it sticking on his arm due to the sweat. "Damn how do these sun people live with all that heat, I've literally cooked and I've only been in it for three minutes!" Seokjin said, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand, Jeongguk giggled lightly, "I'm actually serious i'm literally going to die, lets sit down for a minute."

Seokjin unlinked his arm from Jeongguk's and sat down in the shadow of a nearby bush, he let out a loud sigh of relief, Jeongguk stood in front of the older male, casting a darker shadow onto him, trying to make him cooler so he doesn't faint - Jeongguk didn't really find dragging his best friend back home appealing.
