Chapter 5 - Slip up

Momoi's POV

I can't believe they didn't notice! What a relief! I thought they would...

"Hey, Satsuki. Can I join them now?" I looked at Seiko with a confused face.

"You sure? I mean, aren't you... you know, nervous?"

"Why would I be nervous?" Seiko replied with a plain bored face. Well, Seiko is right. Defeating captain in a 1 on 1 game is almost– no. Impossible! For a girl, she sure is skilled.

And yes. I know her little secret. I knew it, she seems so familiar! I always see her in Aomine-kun's magazines. I think he likes her.

"Momoi? Are you alright?" she asked. "You seem a little off."

"No, I'm fine don't worry." I said with a reassuring smile. She smiled back. Though why would she hide her true identity? I've already seen her in magazines and she's really pretty. Why would she even do this?

"Satsuki!" a deep voice called out.

"Yes, Captain?"

"Let Seiko in the court. Let's see his real talent." Captain said with a grin. Wait, what?

I glanced at the court and saw the whole Generation of Miracles. Is he crazy? I would probably accept a 1 on 1 with Captain but with the whole team? She'll get creamed!

"Captain, I don't think we should do thi–"

"That's an order, Satsuki." he said in a horrifying tone. I looked at Seiko. I can't explain her facial expression. It's like she's bored and excited at the same time. Is that even possible?

"Okay. Seiko, good luck." I said to encourage. She stood up. Looking at her strangely, Captain has a weird plan. Without noticing it, she looked back at me.

She smiled.

I saw Aomine-kun grin. Ooohh, I know why!

"Let's get started!" Captain shouted. All got serious and started the game.

"Okay, end of training."

"Hai!" everyone said.

We packed up our things. Some bid farewell, until it's only Seiko, Captain, Me and Aomine.

"Guys, I'll get going. Bye." she said. I looked at her until she got out of the gym. Hm, she looks like a nerd in a boy's outfit. Though, it kinda fits her.

"Satsuki. Daiki." Captain called out. We both looked at him at the same time.

"Yes?"

"I know you guys know it already." he said.

"Know what?" we said in unison.

"Know Seiko's little secret." he said. Aomine looked confused and I just nodded.

"How did you know, Momoi?" Aomine asked me.

"I heard you guys talk at the garden. I was about to call you when she said everything."

I still remember...

~Flashback~

Hm.. where's  Aomine-kun? He should be here minutes ago! Where is he?

Oh there he is! With that new student. What was his name again? Sa... Sen.. Sei.. Seiko? Yeah, Seiko. Seiko Akashi.  Weird.

I went closer to them, enough to hear what they're saying but not enough for them to see me.

I listened to them carefully.

"I'm Seiko Akashi. The twin sister of Seijuro Akashi."

I know eavesdropping is bad, but I overheard their conversation. So.. that's why....? Now I get it.

~End of Flashback~

"Satsuki. Daiki." Captain said again.

"Hai?" we said.

"Never slip up. Satsuki, you said she when you introduced Seiko to the others. Never let it happen again." he said while he gave me a death glare.

H-he... noticed?

"Never let that slip up happen again." Captain said as he walked away.

"Kakoii!" I whispered.
