"I-Innocent?! But I don't understand! My deduction was flawless!"

"Not completely... the mastermind made it look like Kokichi killed Ace... but in actuality, they killed Ace. All of you got tricked!"

"So if Kokichi isn't the mastermind, then who is?"

"Oh, mastermind~! That's your cue!" The bear singsonged to no one in particular. I smiled, and smoke filled the room as I put on my hoodie that resembles Monokuma, then I hid as the smoke cleared.

"Ah-! The hell was that?!" I heard Kaito yell. "And where'd Naegi go?"

"I'm right here!" I called out, the bear demolished under my foot as I stood where he sat. And the shock and dismay on their faces made me smile...

"N-Naegi?! It was you?!?!" Shuichi exclaimed, surprised.

"Yep! It is! How foolish you all were, trusting people blindly... especially me! You made an awful mistake, and now it's gonna cost you..."

When I said those words, I saw the despair set in with Kaede, Himiko, and Kaito. They looked shattered, while everyone else was either shocked or angry. Except for Kokichi, who was broken from the start.

But it still isn't enough... it's never enough.

I sat down on the bear's seat. It was too big for him, but perfectly sized for me. I felt my smile grow as Shuichi tried to retaliate. "But I don't understand! How?! Why would you do this?!"

"How, you ask? When you've stopped aging for 50 years, you start to learn things... and why? Well....." I laughed, and everyone turned to look at me. Apparently, it was my most 'crazy' sounding one yet.

"Isn't it obvious? I did it for the sake of despair!" I smiled at the mere thought of them getting killed by my hands. And to think that they trusted me... those fools.

My smile grew, and my hand hovered over the red button that would send all of them to their deaths. But then I realized something... I've been doing the same thing over and over for over 50 years... what if I mixed it up a little bit?

I looked at the button, feeling my eyes begin to swirl at the thought of what I was about to do. "It's punishment time!!!" I pressed the button, and stepped down to the others.

~Makoto Naegi's Punishment: Out of Luck~

(A/N: Real quick... yes, I know that this isn't his actual execution in-game, but I wanted to change it, since this isn't quite the same Naegi. However, his old execution will appear, since he's still technically Naegi. Understand? Good. Onto the punishment.)

I felt chains wrap around my wrists, pulling me into a corridor, and then they released me. That's odd... this is different than what I planned. I began to run, looking for a way to get out, thinking that this was the wrong execution.

But I was wrong.

Glowing white spears began flying at me in random directions, barely dodging me. I finally made it to the end of the corridor, but it was a dead end. Another spear flew at me, forcing me into a corner. 8 other spears trapped me there, and another almost hit me in the heart, but I fell down, due to the floor collapsing.

I was falling. How many feet have I fallen by now? 30? 40? I suddenly fell into a chair, my wrists getting bound again. I gasped in delight when a slam was heard behind me. This was my old punishment!

As I got closer to the crusher, I knew that Alter Ego wouldn't save me this time. Knowing that, despair finally engulfed me one last time as I got crushed.

But I knew that it wasn't the end. I knew that the killing game would go on without me. How did I know that? Because every one of the students fell as I got executed. Even though it was fake hope, I kept it going, I kept them hopeful throughout this game. Without me, they're nothing.

I created new Remnants of Despair... and with every member of the Future Foundation dead due to me, there's nothing to get in their way of spreading despair across the planet.

I won.
