The lock clicks and the door creaks as it swings open. Foldy takes a deep breath as she peeks around the door. It's just an empty hallway. She looks back at Liy and the others. They give her a reassuring smile. She hesitates at the entrance, but only for about a second before a strange force sucks her in and the door slams shut behind her. Liy tries the door, but it's already locked itself. "Shucks," Liy says. "She took the staple."
Foldy finds herself in a black void. She knows there's solid ground beneath her, but she can't see it. She stands up. She walks and walks, not sure if she's even going anywhere. Everything looks the same. She could just be walking in place, and she wouldn't know.
