NG is silent when it is used as the first letter
Example:
안녕하세요 Annyeonghaseyo
아니 AniWhen you put 와 NG, O, and A together it forms a WAH sound. It forms a W sound.
와
OA (OAH)
WAHOA don't read it. Pronounce it. Gets?
