Whiterun, The Bannered Mare
This place is really similar to my dimention. Elves, dragons, magic... Even bandits are as bad as mine. But it also suits my description. Frosty place with a hero wielding ancient and powerful magic. Good thing I didn't sell this necklace... Too bad I'm leaving soon. The necklace is almost fully charged for another jump between time and space. One more day won't make difference, actually. Becides, I don't even know where to go now...
On the outside of the inn someone was screaming their lungs out.
'Dragon! Dragon is attacking the Whiterun!'
Y/N finished his mead, paid for it and walked outside. He noticed two other fighters taking care of the dragon.
Serana and Dovahkiin started without me... I'll let them handle it. Mostly because my sword is in cleaning.
Serana used her ice magic to freeze the dragon to the ground. Dovahkiin, with one single hit of his Dragonbone Greatsword cut dragon's throat. After the beast bled out, Dovahkiin absorbed it's soul.
After a while, they both noticed Y/N standing in front of the inn entrance.
'You're late, Y/N.' Dovahkiin said sarcastically. 'The dragon is already down.'
'These beast just won't quit, will they?' Serana growled. 'It's been seventh one in three days straight.'
'Even after Alduin's defeat, they are still furious. But I'm sure that they will die from my blade. All of them.'
'Good thinking, my dragon hunting friend.' Y/N said with a smirk.
'Let's go back inside... This sun is driving me crazy...' Serana said.
As the vampiress said, we did.
'Three mugs of mead!' Y/N ordeded. The waitress came with drinks quickly and serve them.
'Since you didn't participate in today's fight, tell us about one of your journeys outside the Mundus.' Dovahkiin asked.
'To be honest, I also want to hear a thing or two about different worlds.' Serana added.
I guess I have no choice now...
'Where to start... I've been once in a world where only humans lived. There was no magic, no monsters and no other races. Instead of magic, they were using advansed machines what would made Dwemers jealous if they still existed. With them, they could build houses high enough to reach the sky, communicate on the huge distance, store sounds and pictures and even more...'
'By the Nine...' Dovahkiin gasped and Serana remained speechless.
They always react like this. They're calling gods or remain speechless... I'll never get bored of that.
'Anyways, if you still don't believe me, I have something from this world...' Y/N said, reaching his bottomless haversack. He took out a pair of two black objects. 'These are called "walkie-talkies". They can be used to communicate. Just set the similar numbers with this knob and if you want to tell something you click on this button. Wanna try it out?'
They both grabbed the devices and Dovahkiin walked out the inn.
'Can you hear me?' Dovahkiin asked through the device.
'Yes... And this is scary...' Serana answered.
Dovahkiin returned inside and he and Serana gave walkie-talkies back.
