Chapter one: Being the "fat" person...

The word fat to me can mean many things and that of things that are all of a preconceived idea. When someone calls you fat they almost automatically put you into a category that is: ugly, unhealthy, lazy, no boyfriend, no physical exercise, lack of hygiene and lack of manners.

This category that is build around the word "fat" is the reason why people cry them self's to sleep because people automatically judge who you are because of this word and won't give you a minute or second to prove them otherwise.

I know that people's definition of a fat person isn't true because I'm a fat person and I have come to realise that maybe I was made the way I am because I was to prove that being fat shouldn't automatically put you into a category of a preconceived idea.

The word ugly means: "not pleasant to look at."

What frustrates me the most is that people take it appon themselves to decide whether or not a person is "ugly".

Yes you might find a person less appealing to look at than others but that is only your own opinion. That doesn't mean that you need to take it appon yourselves and make a judgemental decision that someone is ugly, soaly based on your opinion with no other factual information.

You might think that someone is less appealing but your opinion doesn't cancel that of hundreds, that would say otherwise.

And rather say that "Wow this person's face is really pleasant to look at because it holds undefined beauty and emotions that cannot be recreated to show, what this person is feeling."

I would just like to say that if you are one of those people who judge others based on their "looks" , I would rethink calling someone ugly because I pretty sure others would say the same about you and not just based on your "looks" but based on your personality as well.

One thing I hate about being called "fat" aside from the physical comments is that apparently, of you are fat you don't exercise or do sport , which is something that really pisses me of because I'm "fat" as they say and I do five different sports three of which consists of a lot of running.

Another thing is that really has nothing to do with your size but apparently because you're "fat" you stink or you don't take showers or have any form of hygiene.

Okay yes, sometimes bigger people tend to sometimes perspire more, but I don't know about you but I cannot stand being dirty or greasy and most people would say the same thing and honestly has nothing to do with your size.

Another thing thing I want to say is that because of this stereotype
I would try my best to always smell clean and fresh and honestly being a "fat" person actually is one of the reasons why I keep my hygiene up and make sure I always smell like a million bucks.

Lack of manners is something also associate with being "bigger" than others. For example we "apparently" have no table manners and eat like pigs. I want to just say that I was thought at a young age what appropriate to do at a dinner table and to chew my food by my parents.

This is something that most people are thought in a family household and once again has nothing to do with your size but to do with what you were thought at a young age by your parents or guardians.

Relating to this in the manners category is farting and burping.
It is something most are too embarrassed to do in public and is also something you would do at home in private or if you are with someone you are really comfortable with like your sibling (we all have that one sibling who farts or burbs in your face and runs away~ my sister's boyfriend), once again HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR SIZE.

It simply has to do how comfortable you are around certain people and you comfortably in the relationship.

Last thing that I haven't mentioned is the stereotype that "bigger" people don't eat salad or healthy stuff like fruit and vegetables.

First thing is that no child likes eating vegetables and would rather go for the sweets, be honest most adults would do the same.

Me personally my family doesn't eat takeout , maybe once every six months if we are lucky and we eat reasonably healthy food and you would ask, "Well If you eat so healthy then why are you 'fat'?".

Well my fellow reader it is because a person doesn't just get fat from eating junk food, that is the main factor, but also because of ,for me, you get fat because of a lack of portion control and this is something I am guilty of.

Honestly most of us eat bigger portion than why we should and this can cause you to gain weight. You can even gain weight simply by eating too much, even if it's healthy and this is because certain things contain a lot of natural sugar or fat and is only healthy in a perportional amount and if not it becomes unhealthy.

In conclusion to that not all fat people nessesarialy eat junk food but actually eat healthy, but have a perportion control problem or don't eat correctly with regards to eating breakfast in the morning or having five meals a day in proportion.

To end this off I would just like to conclude that most of these stereotypes aren't true and is a generalised preconceived idea and hopefully next time you would think twice about assuming what someone is like just because of their weight.

Also to all fellow bigger girls/boys out there I would just like to say you are not alone and should not be pressured to addhear to what society has assumed about you and to rather prove society wrong. Don't prove people right by doing what they say of you, rather do what they say you can't or what they don't expect you to do.

BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE!! NOT WHAT THEY EXPECT YOU TO BE!!😘😝
