A tear rolled down my cheek remembering that day.

Flashback

Abby's pov

I was in 8th grade. I took a seat next to my best friend Rose.

"Hey, Abby did you hear about the new kid ?" She asked.

New kid ? Yup, i heard. Many say he was cute while others said he must be gay. But i didn't care, i wasn't interested either way. I came to learn and nothing else.

"What theirs a new kid ?" I answered.

"Yes he's in this class. I heard he's cute I'm so excited !"

"Oh please you think everyone's cute."

Rose was about to fire back when the teacher interrupted her.

"Ok class we have a new student today, come introduce yourself." She waves to the guy to come in.

"Omg he's not cute he's handsome!" Rose interrupted my thoughts. "Hopefully he sits next to us"

"What no that means he will sit next to me"

(Empty seat. Abby. Rose.)

"I know you're so lucky."

"What no"

"Abby, rose be quiet." The teacher scolds us. We chuckle and turn our attention back to the front.

"Hey nice to meet you all. My name is Kim taehyung. Hope to make friends. Kamsamnida." He gives a small bow.

"Okay taehyung you can sit next to Abby and try to make her shut her mouth once in her life." The teacher says and everyone laughs.

I roll my eyes.

"How about you stop running your mouth and actually start teaching, which is why we came here for."

Everyone went "ooo"

"Abby lace ! Detention after school !"

"Go sit taehyung."

And so class started.

10 minutes later

I was trying to pay attention to the class but taehyung kept poking my shoulder.

"Omg what do you want." I turn to glare at him.

"You."

My eyes enlarge. Did i hear right ?

"What did you just say ?"

" I said I need you to help me on this problem." He said with no emotion.

Oh what's wrong with me.

"oh okay so x equals 2 and y equals 7."
I said rapidly trying to pay my attention back to the teacher.

" I don't need the answer, I need your help."

"Ask someone else." I said not looking at him.

"I would but I'm stuck with you." He sighs. "I'm new here please help me just this once."

Before i could respond the bell rang and everyone started packing up.

"Maybe next time." I said finishing packing up and ready to leave but his voice stopped me.

"Mrs.lee can you give me detention ?"

I turned to face him. He was looking at the teacher.

"Why would you want detention, you haven't done anything wrong." Mrs.lee answers.

"Okay you asked for it." Taehyung says as he walks towards the board and grabs a marker.

I widen my eyes seeing what he drew.

"Kim taehyung detention after school !"

"Thank you Mrs.lee." He says walking towards me.

"See you in detention Abby lace." He smirked and walked away.

Why did we meet Kim Taehyung ?

I thought while more tears fall from my eyes.
