Peter instantly jumped in when he heard the first explosion with Venom and his spider-sense warning him about dangers around him when a beam shot right in front of him just as an alien/robot was about to stab him.
"Peter?" A voice called, but he ignored it and swung back to fight, the Iron Man suit just landed in front of him.
"Little busy." Peter yelled over the explosions.
"Kid, what are you doing here?!" Tony yelled back, too worried about him being there than about where he's been at the moment.
"Helping, what does it look like I'm doing?!" Peter yelled back before swinging over him and joining the fight again before Tony could get a word in. He was soon out of sight and Tony was back to freaking out. However, something else caught his eye, metal. When he turned, Tony saw his parents' murder standing only a few feet away from him. He couldn't worry about that, though, because he saw something worse, a certain blonde he was hoping to avoid.
"Alright, everyone, we need people in the sky and the others on the ground!" Steve yelled as if they were a team again.
"I've got sky!" Sam yelled.
"On my way!" Wanda yelled.
"Tony?" Rhodey yelled and Tony felt a bit smug knowing that Rhodey would only listen to Tony.
"You heard the Captain." Tony yelled back.
"I've also got sky!" That, however, made Tony froze. Because that was Peter's voice.
"No-!" Tony tried to yell, but someone cut him off.
"Be careful, Peter!" T'challa yelled and Peter nodded in his direction.
Peter quickly swung in the air towards a robot with his feet in front of him. His feet collided with the robot's face and it was knocked out of the sky and crashed onto the ground. Peter looked up to see some sort of giant electrical orb on top of a building that was surrounded by the alien/robots. Must be their energy source.
Destroy?
Let's try to get to it first, we don't want to make it worse.
Peter quickly webbed up two of the robots on the roof before punching another pair in the face and kicked the last two off of it. He cautiously walked towards the electrical orb and contacted the others through the coms.
"Hey, guys? I think I just found the energy source, but I'm not so sure if I should destroy it." Peter said.
"Where are you?" T'challa asked. Peter quickly gave him his location and it sounded like both he and Tony were on their way. Wait, Tony. Oh God, not now, not now! Luckily, T'challa got there first and he examined it.
"This looks like something you and Shuri would be able to figure out." He finally decided.
"I didn't know if I'd have enough time before something attacked me, and I didn't want to make the decision without someone else's opinion." Peter explained. Before T'challa could respond they heard thrusters land behind Peter. Before the man could even get a word out, though, T'challa saved Peter.
"Tony, what do you think we should do?" He asked and Peter shot him a greatful look.
"Well, for one, I think the kid should probably bench while we figure it out, then I need to talk to him." Even through the armer Peter could feel the pointed stare at him.
"Actually, we need him. He's the only one out of all of us that can figure this out." T'challa argued.
"I'm sorry, do you know each other?" Tony asked, sounding irritated.
"That does not matter right now, what matters is the battle at the moment!" T'challa yelled, sounding annoyed.
"He's a kid! He shouldn't be in this battle!" Tony yelled back, sounding angry.
"We need him!" Oh no, now T'challa was angry, too. The two were now in a full blown argument.
"Done!" Peter yelled, cutting the arguing men off in a 'did not, did too' argument. The two looked at Peter in confusion before they realized the robots were falling out of the sky.
"What did you...?" Tony asked, shocked.
"I shut them down." Peter answered and both men knew that he was beaming under the mask.
"How...?" Tony started, but couldn't finish.
"Ha! I told you!" T'challa exclaimed.
"I thought you were a king, not a kid." Tony grumbled but T'challa jut shrugged.
"Anyway, good work Spider-Man." T'challa said to Peter and he beamed even brighter. Before he could respond Tony interrupted.
"Yeah yeah, now mind telling me where you've been? And where you got that suit?!" Tony asked, stepping out of his armor.
"Uh, I'd rather not." Peter said, rubbing his arm awkwardly.
"Look, kid, I heard about Aunt May, and I'm sorry I took away your suit, but I need to know where you've been." Tony said softly. Peter flinched anyway though.
"And just why do you need to know?" T'challa asked, standing in front of Peter protectively and intimidatingly.
"That's none of your business." Tony shot back.
"Why DO you need to know?" Peter asked from behind T'challa.
"I just need to ok?" Tony replied.
"That's not-"
"MAN OF SPIDERS!" A voice yelled. The three snapped their heads to see Thor and Loki land on the roof. Thor was smiling widely at Peter while Loki just looked board, but gave him a small wave.
"Wait, THOR?! Where the hell have you been?!" Tony asked, shocked.
"I've been in Asgard, but then we blew it up because our sister was trying to take over and now we along with a couple others are the only Asgardans (sorry if I got that wrong) left." Thor bellowed.
"And what's he doing here?!" Tony shouted angrily, gesturing to Loki. He never even noticed Peter and T'challa sneaking off to the jet.
"Oh don't worry! He's good now! He helped us to defeat our sister!" Thor replied happily.
"Thor, we can't just ignore what he did." Tony deadpanned.
"Oh, we didn't. He was imprisoned for a long time. We just let him out early!" Thor said.
"Thor-!"
"Just so you two idiots know, the boy and king are gone." Loki interrupted with pure amusement.
"WHAT?!" Tony yelled, looking around.
"Aww, well, I guess we can see them later then." Tony snapped his head to Thor.
"Wait, you know where Spider-Man is?" Tony asked.
"Yes, he's-"
"Not your business. Let's go, brother, Spider-Man wanted to see us, remember?" Loki said with a smirk.
"Oh, of course! We will meet again, Man of Iron!" Thor yelled, happily before disappearing.
"LOKI-" Tony started to yell angrily.
"Haven't you betrayed the boy's trust enough, Stark?" Loki snarled at him before disappearing himself. Tony sighed, knowing he messed up before getting back into his armor and flying back to the compound, thinking of ways to find Peter.
