Chapter 4: Ice Cream & Coffee

After the kiss the other day, I could not focus on almost anything. I did remember to go to work the next day though. I went to work early to put in a little extra hours since I did not go to work for two days. "So, where did you run off to the other day that was so important?" Dave asked me. "China invited me over to her house to meet her family. She also showed me around her house. Its pretty huge." I said. Dave smiled and looked at me while nodding. I was washing cups in the sink and my back was facing Dave. I could not see him, but I could feel his eyes behind me. " I can see you starring at me, you know?" I said to him. "I know." Dave said as he went in the back room. I was now drying cups and putting them away when I heard the door open and someone came and sat at the front counter. I looked up to see China. "Hey there." China said to me. "Hey." I said while smiling. "What can I get you?" I asked since I was a server and a waitress. "Can I get you with a side of whipped cream?" China said as she smilied and laughed. She was flirting with me and I could tell. " Very funny. How about a Carmel Frappe?" I asked. China nodded and I made her coffee. Dave then came out the back room and came by me. China saw him and smiled as I gave her card back to her. "Dave,  I never got to say thank you for showing me where Victoria lives. Thank you." China said as Dave nodded. I then gave China her coffee.

Hours later, China and Dave got to know each other well. We all talked about different things like College, Sports and Hobbies. It turns out, that we ended up talking for the whole almost. Dave then looked at the clock. "Its closing time. You two can go. I will lock up everything here." Dave said. "Nice meeting you, China." Dave said as he left. I nodded and China and I walked out the coffee shop. " It's still early and I don't want to go home yet. I got a place where we can go." I said to China. She nodded and we hopped in my car. A few minutes later, we were downtown. It was dark and it was lit up like a Christamas tree. China looked up at the lights and smiled. I watched her as I walked over by her slowly. "It's beautiful down here. I never been down here at night. Only in the daytime." China said while looking at me. "Really? You should start hanging out with me more." I said. China smiled and rolled her eyes. She then looked at the Ice Cream Shop in front of us. "Sweet tooth coming up?" I asked China. " Yep."

After we got our ice cream, we both walked around downtown.  We were talking when we walked near a photo booth. China then dragged me by the arm and we were in the photo booth. We took photos like crazy. We took Funny pictures, cute pictures and cute nerd pictures. We both then stepped out of the photo booth. China then took the photos out. "We did great for our first photo together." China said as I smiled. It was getting around 11pm and it was time for me to take China home. The ride to China's was slient. Once I pulled up to the house, we both walked to the front door and China turned around and looked at me. We both smiled at each other. "thanks for the day and night out. I really enjoyed myself." China said as she smiled. "Anytime." I said. China then hugged me. I hugged back and China looked at me as we pulled away and moped into each others eyes. We then kissed for a good 10 minutes. After we got done, we both smiled. We then held hands. "I guess I will see you tomorrow at my place?" I asked China. China nodded. I was about to go, but I looked to see that China was still holding my hand. I smiled I let go and got into my car. China watched me and then went in the house.
