The first day of summer had begun. Ginny woke Jessica with a nice firm smack  with a feathered pillow. Jessica was Fred and George's best friend and trusty prank sidekick. She was a fierce woman and given a reason quite the scary being. Her mother was killed by Voldemort for refusing to serve him along with her husband. Jessica's father died at the hands of Voldemort for  also refusing him and declining his demand to bring her in as a new recruit. Jessica was a Slytherin and before she met the twins, was close with Draco Malfoy. She was quite attractive when she didn't have a sneer plastered to her face. She and Harry Potter has grown to have a sibling type relationship and both helped eachother with the empty feeling that was etched into their stomached by the loss of their parents. Mr and Mrs. Weasley has taken her under their wing that summer after they had been told by the twins her drunk of an aunt smashed a glass bottle on her arm. Jessica refused to use magic on her aunt because- as terrible as that woman was- she was the last living relative she had a simply a Muggle  Jessica would have been places in Hufflepuff for her loyalty and kindness if she hadn't overpowered those traits with her ambition and cunningness. She had a hand in the Weasley twins idea for their joke shop but aspired to be an Auror.

"Wake up Jess, breakfast is ready."

"Ginny, a simple shake on the shoulder would suffice." She grumbled rolling from her bed. She changed into her peach top and black jeans. She quickly brushed her long hair and tied it into a high ponytail, brushed her teeth, washed her face and headed downstairs.

"Good morning everyone!" She warmly said as she took a seat by George.

"Morning dear!" Mrs. Weasley replied as she filled her plate with a large helping of eggs, sausage,  hash browns and bacon.

"Jess, we're going down to the village to talk to girls. Wanna come?" Fred said bluntly with a mouth full of food. Ron stares at her dreamily with his head resting on his hand. She shrugged and poured herself some orange juice.

"Sure. Ginny want to co-"

"No!" Fred and George said hastily together. Jessica eyes then carefully and tried to catch their eyes. No one but her mother knew, bye she was able to perform Legilimency since she was a child. When she finally held eye contact with George his mind was too jumbled to figure out and she was giving herself a headache.

"Why not?" She asked quietly with a tone of annoyance in her voice.

"She's not good at acting like a Muggle and she embarrasses us." George explained occasionally sending glances to his sister. Jess nodded and continued to eat her food. When they had finished breakfast Harry and Ron went to de-gnome the garden while the three of them made their way to the village. The moment they made it there Fred hurried into a shop with a cute girl working the counter. Her blonde hair sat untidily on her shoulders and she constantly puffed and played with it.

"Alright, I'm going to go into that place," George pointed to a small restaurant with a brunette sitting at a table alone. "Do you want to come with me?" He asked. They made eye contact and despite her resistance she head the voice of George in her own mind 'I don't think she should stay by herself.'

"I can take care of myself." She growled in a low voice as she looked away.

"What?" George asked, he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"I said go along. I'm fine in my own." He nodded and walked along to the restaurant. Jessica walked into a shop filled with muggle sweets and snacks. She walked along checking out aisle by aisle. She checked the time to see that around fifteen minutes have passed. She decided to make her way to another place. She made it five feet or so out of the store when two boys approached her. The one on the left side had jet black hair slicked down with way too much gel. He had stormy grey eyes and a slightly tan complexion. The one on the right had untidy golden brown hair and cinnamon colored eyes. He had a lighter skin color. She tried to walk around them when the jet black haired boy shifted in front of her.

"Well hello." The boy on the left said. "My name's Jeromy, who might you be?" He smiled, an unsettling smile.

"I'm J- Joely." She lied. She had only met this boy but she wasn't getting a great vibe from him. She refused to look through his mind. She was scared to see what this seemingly creepy boy may be thinking. The other boy had a softer look on his face and remained quiet.

"Hi Joely, do you want to come with us to-"

"Can't. Sorry. I got to meet up with my friends. Maybe another time." She timidly smiles and moved to walk away when once again she was blocked. Her patience was wearing thin.

"If you'd move please that'd be great." She said sarcastically. The boy laughed.

"Just one drink and we'll leave you alone." He said.

"Come on Jeromy, she said no. Let's just go." His friend said trying to move him by the forearm. Jeromy swatted him away and faced Jessica once again.

"Well what do ya say?" He asked, his eyes twinkling.

"Move please." He stood still. A look of defiance on his face. His friend continued to try and move him but failed.

"Bu-"

"Mate, she said no. Leave her be." A familiar voice said. It was George. He looked quite annoyed.

"And who are you?" Jeromy questioned with a nasty look on his face.

"I'm her friend." George replies with a sneer. Jessica make her way to George's side when the boy grabbed her arm. She felt a strange and sudden  surge of anger, annoyance and fear that she  kicked the boy in the stomach.

"Don't touch me you tossed." Her voice was cold and held an eerie calmness to it. The boy was in his knees and his friend held his arm trying to help him up. She walked to George, liked their arms and began to walk away. When she looked up she seen his face covered in complete shock. Their eyes met and she once again heard his voice ring in her head- 'that was so bloody hot!' She laughed and broke eye contact..

"Did you see that boy? He looked like he had just been beat up!" Fred exclaimed as he appeared with an ice cream in his hand.

"He does, doesn't he?" Jess said with a smile playing across her face. They made their way back to the flat and Heorge animatedly explained what had happened. Fred seemed quite impressed. So much so he gave Jess his cone which she shared with George. So far, they knew this summer was going to be great.
