I stayed silent for a few moments, speechless and shocked. Three more child. We would have five children under the age of four. I can barley handle Baylor and Isaac, let alone three more. I look into Louis' eyes are see hurt and pain, but one emotion sands out the most: fear.
"Louis," I paused to grip his hand tightly. "that's the best news I've ever heard."
All he did was smile as he placed a sonogram in my hand that had "Louis: 3.5 months." I looked at the small black and white blobs and all I could do was smile. I was ready for this.
"Do you know the genders?" I asked looking back up at his sparkling blue eyes.
"Yes, do you want to know?" He asked as he pulled out another small piece of paper.
